This controller punches well above its price point. Responsiveness is excellent, with smooth, precise inputs that feel reliable right out of the box. Nothing feels laggy or mushy, and the controls are consistent during longer play sessions. What really sold me is that my adult kids, who are absolute connoisseurs of gaming gear for value, already own multiples of these. They are picky, informed, and not easily impressed, so the fact that this is a repeat buy for them says a lot. For the price, this feels like one of the best controllers available. It performs the way you want without gimmicks or unnecessary extras, and it just works. If you are looking for a high quality controller without paying premium brand pricing, this is an easy recommendation.

Meant to do this after my first night, but here goes. I actually kind of love this controller. It feels solid, no weird creaks and cracks. The wireless bluetooth dongle is even better than Microsoft. Havent lost connection with my controller one time. It is super affordable and for the quality, I actually think it is an insane ratio of give/get. The extra keys are dope af, but they take some getting used to. L4/R4 is an inspired choice! Will be buying more in the future because these are just that damned good. Thanks!

I have the 8Bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth and while it is very good, the dpad is probably its biggest flaw. I was intrigued by the Ultimate 2C and am very pleasantly surprised to find the dpad is significantly improved. It's clickier, more responsive and less mushy than the original Ultimate. I was also keen to test the unusual L4 and R4 shoulder buttons which I had never seen before. I can say that these are also a successful addition, easy to use and very easy to set with the special assign button. I thought they may be awkward to hit but they truly work like an assistant to the standard shoulder buttons. The sticks, shell and face buttons are all excellent, good feeling and no accidental activations. Hall effect sticks and triggers at this price is great. I don't use them but the included more convex shaped thumbstick caps are a thoughtful inclusion. I respect 8Bitdo for their willingness to try different configurations and layouts. There is always a tradeoff in terms of price and functionality, so you do lose the back buttons on the pricier models but I find the new L4 and R4 to be a worthy replacement. I'm very pleased to see tweaks and improvements made. 8Bitdo if you're listening, this style of dpad is a vast improvement and the L4 R4 experiment is a keeper. A future 3C with these improvements plus back buttons or even 4 actuator keys like the Xbox Elite controllers would be great.

Amazing controller to replace my faulty Xbox one controller. I use it for my PC using the wireless hub. Works like a charm! •Pros: -The turbo function is cool and handy, just note that you will need to reassign it each time you start the controller. -The extra L4 and L4 buttons are handy, I mostly use them to remap the L3 and R3 buttons on the analog sticks; so it is easier to run while moving in most RPGs. Just note that they are not considered as separate buttons (extra button); they act like replica buttons. -The built in battery is good but not great. It is not a huge issue though as the provided USB-C cable can be used to recharge the battery as you are using the controller which is nice. -It comes with 2 rubber caps for analog sticks! •Cons: -What I found a little annoying; the RB button is a little loose in its socket. The trigger buttons feels a bit squeaky when being pressed. •General notes: (not good nor bad) -The controller is a little smaller than the Xbox one. You can get used to it over time. I just wanted to note that out. -The RB and LB are “clicky”, again, something you get used to over time. -The position of start and select buttons can be a bit confusing, especially if you’re used to the Xbox controller. Overall, this is a solid controller, and considering it’s price, I highly recommend it!

Lovely controller, excellent triggers and joy sticks! Best value proposition with what feels like no drawbacks in terms of build quality. I loved it so much I gave the Purple one to my girlfriend and bought a Green one for myself. This was when I learned of the only major flaw this controller has, its connectivity. It seems like all the budget was spent on was the hardware as it is fantastic, as it can only connect to PC and android. This means if you have a switch, mac, iPad, or iPhone etc. you cannot use this amazing controller with your platform. Was extremely frustrating finding this out so late, really wish 8bitdo would extend the support to at least Mac as this is my favorite controller of all time and is so close to perfect!

8Bitdo makes some of the best aftermarket controllers you can buy, that are budget priced and can compete with heavyweights that costs three times the price. The controller feels good, the buttons are good and snappy, the joysticks are nice, and feel firm with no dead zones, and the triggers are smooth. There's no creak or play in the plastic at all, and the shell feels really solid and well made. My ONLY gripe is that it doesn't come in black unless you buy the Wukong Special Edition. It has very bright pastel colors that clash with my all black and red setup. I would buy it again if I needed another one.

Buttons and joysticks feel really good. Immediately connected via dongle. Overall fantastic value.

I was thoroughly impressed by this controller, especially for the instant responsiveness when you use the 2.4 dongle with it, there is zero lag or latency between controller and inputs when you do it that way. I didn't try the bluetooth since I bought it to use with my steam deck while docked and connected to a monitor. The control is comfortable, easy to charge with a USB-C port, and has the nice little bonus of a Turbo function. The bonus of having 3 trigger buttons on each side gives you the option of more key binds if you want. The price was low for such a good device, I was quite impressed. Plug the USB dongle into your PC, and its instant detect, no setup, pure plug and play.

I bought one a while back for my brother as a Christmas gift and he loved it, so I figured I'd buy myself one. This controller is honestly a dream. It feels great in my hands due to its ergonomic design. It's also really sturdy. I'm pretty clumsy and must have dropped it at least 30 times on hardwood flooring. And still, it carries on like nothing happened. Not even a crack on the shell or a broken button. As for gameplay, I use it wirelessly and haven't noticed any input lag.

The hall effect joysticks are subtle and awesome to use. The controller will work over Bluetooth, but I recommend the USB dongle because it has a much higher polling rate and feels much more responsive. Pricing is okay for Canada and the color is nice minty fresh. There are enough programmable buttons. I recommend this as it is also rechargeable something that still is not present in the standard Microsoft controllers

Smaller then an xbox controller, slightly different feel, but you get used to it quickly. Does feel nice in the hand, zero rubberized material to wipe off. Can be a good thing or bad depending on how much you sweat. Light and feels kind of cheap. Still happy with it, for what you get to what you pay for, it's a decent controller.
