Open Up and Say. Ahh! is the sophomore album by glam metal band, Poison. Released in 1988 through Enigma Records, it proved to be the band's most successful release, climbing to #2 on the Billboard 200 and spawning four hit singles: "Nothin' But a Good Time," "Fallen Angel," "Your Mama Don't Dance," and the #1 smash, "Every Rose Has Its Thorn." It is widely regarded as one of the most iconic albums of the `80s, with its catchy guitar riffs and memorable hooks. Review: Rock and Roll - Great album 👍 Review: Nostalgic - When I was young, I would always hear the songs on this album. Definitely a timeless classic, this album delivers in all aspects of what you want from a hair metal group. Sounds amazing and just puts you in a great mood. Some of the best from Poison on this album. Amazing album any hair metal fan needs to own.

Poison at their best!Poison has always been a favorite band and I still have the original record with the original cover. This is kick ass rock n' roll at the best. This has some of their best work overall from start to finish with one hell of a infectious rockin ride that covers all emotions from livin life to the fullest, tryin to make it on your own, heartbreak, and sex is always good for the soul. You get the classic hits like the best party song ever in Nothin' But A Good Time while keeping the rock train rolling with Good Love,Tearin Down The Walls, and Back To The Rockin Horse.Fallen Angel is another awesome rockin song that the band is well known for and is a reminder of how cold this screwed up world is but to keep tryin to make it no matter what the bastards try to tell ya.Then you have the greatest rock power ballad of all time in my opinion in Every Rose Has Its Thorn.Every Rose Has Its Thorn has stood the test of time as one of the best songs in rock history and is a tribute to excellent songwriting.Bad To Be Good is a more raw rockin song that has a little more bite to it attitude wise and is a great closer. You also get another awesome party rock song in Your Mama Don't Dance which is better than the original version and musically has that classic feel good vibe to it.Bottom line this is one of the milestone rock cd's that is a 10 out of 10 masterpiece from one of the best bands around.I highly recommend Poison-Open Up And Say...Ahh! to all rock n'roll fans out there that want a pleasure experience musically that will satisfy your rock fix for all time.Poison Rocks!!!

2018 Red Vinyl
Sounds great; trumps my CD copies for sure and my original 1988 cassette. The highs are great; album seems to be a bit treble heavy; but I am good with that. You can see they took great care in the mastering process of this reissue. My cartridge is good to 48Khz a channel and when the cymbals are hit I see those frequencies go all the way up to the top of what my cartridge can handle. Extremely pleased with this reissue for 14 bucks; it was a bargain for me. Its 120 gram pressing which is more than fine if you have a record weight and a decent platter mat. Vinyl arrived nice and flat no warping.

Was surprised it was red viynl when I opened it, but it sounds amazing. One of my favorite pressings of any record ever. Very happy and surprised. It's dead silent.

Not good package for shipping
Love the CD but the way it was shipped caused the case to have a long crack . It was put in a plastic thin bag. Plastic cover CDs should not be shipped in a thin plastic bag.

I Dig This Album
Poison is not my favorite band, by any means. I never thought I would own a Poison CD, let alone record, but here I go reviewing the nice 'Colored' vinyl I bought, from Poison. I really liked this record after one listen. It's not very heavy (metal), but it rocks pretty good and it's something new to listen to. I would recommend this to someone who want something new to listen to for a while that's a little different, maybe, from the same, usual records. I will listen to it again and am glad I got this. After all, the price here, was very nice!

Open Up And Say...
