This replacement cord sounds very close to the original one. the only reason it did not get a 5 was because there is a strange rattle coming from the volume up/down control. other than that, it is a worthy replacement and worth the price. Look at who the seller is..."Beat" not "Beats" not "Beats by Dre" not "Apple." Classic rip off from China that falls apart before you can even use it. I know that Beats aren't the best or sturdiest of headphones but this product is flimsy and has absolutely no durability. Unless you plan on super gluing the pieces together yourself just so that you can sit (without moving) on your couch an listen to music, I would not recommend buying this product. Unless you want your AUX cable to rattle as you walk down the street while you hold the control talk together with one hand, then I don't recommend you buy this product. This is just a cheap shot at trying to sell a piece of garbage product for a good price compared to what it costs in stores to buy the actual Apple Control Talk cord for Beats.
