I have very dry mouth and cannot get to sleep without this stuff. I take a small swig at night, swirl, and spit. Sorry for the expectoration image, but, well, those are the directions. This coats my mouth. Now I can fall asleep without my mouth nagging me. It's got xylitol in it, so there's a bit of a nice sweet flavor. It has a great minty taste as well. My husband appreciates that. It has no burn like regular mouthwash, which contain alcohol and thus actually dry out your mouth. Part of its mechanism of action is to moisturize the tissue of the mouth in order to help it retain water, so it's a bit more than just temporary relief. Glycerin is one of the ingredients used. They make a spray as well, which is nice to take on-the-go, but I don't think it works as well. And you have to pull it out in public like you're freshening your breath in expectation of flirting with a stranger in the hopes he kisses you. Just doesn't have the right optics, you know?! Kinda 90s smarmy. But no love lost--the rinse is fantastic.

This is a great product for my aging mother who suffers from dry mouth due to medications. I have her use it before bed and then in the morning and she has stopped obsessing over needing candy or cough drops to suck on all day long. Worth the money.

I use this to help my mouth sores as I am going through chemotherapy right now. It is really done the job and has prevented mouth sores getting worse. I highly recommend this product if you’re going through chemotherapy.
