This is a great Vacuum especially if you have a pet, and carpet. I am amazed at how well it works. Great suction, light weight and easy to use. picks up everything on any type of flooring. The attachments are very helpful too.

Holy cow this vacuum is INCREDIBLE!! it’s so smooth and easy to use, the height is adjustable, and the power is insane, we have 2 cats and 1 husky so you can only imagine the amount of hair our dog leaves everywhere but the vacuum had 0 trouble picking up hair, dust, and cat litter. It didn’t get jammed not once and the cord is pretty good sized, i was able to do our kitchen, living room, dinning area, bathroom, and half of our bedroom from one socket! I added a picture of the vacuum when I finished cleaning today and omg it’s nasty seeing how much hair it picked up from our carpet haha, I also put a picture of our dog to show just how much hair she has! Overall this in an amazing vacuum and tha fact your saving an animal when purchasing makes it even more amazing!!

I'm brand new to living on my own and adulting. I really wanted a good vacuum without destroying my already suffering bank account. I settled on this one, even though I don't have pets, because I know the carpet of my house has only been vacuumed by a really old vacuum for probably a decade or more, so I knew the carpet was probably way worse than it looked. I LOVE this thing. It was really easy to assemble, the swivel part makes it really easy to maneuver, and the attachments are great! I'm not even really sure what the pet-specific attachment is for, but it still did a great job getting small bits out of smaller areas of the carpet. The regular vacuum part got up SO much dust and dirt. I was kind of mortified but actually very relieved that it works so well. It works well on my hard floors in my kitchen as well when the settings are adjusted for that type of flooring. And it's got the easy emptying mechanic where you remove the barrel thingy and press a button to empty it into the trash. It can maintain a good deal of dust/dirt in the barrel though, but that's to be expected--that's just how dust/dirt works. It's about as heavy as I would expect a decent vacuum to be, but it's definitely not difficult for me to lift on the rare occasion I need to lift it. I think this was a really good vacuum for me to start with. I show it off to anyone who will listen.

pros - hepa filter (makes a huge difference compared to my previous vacuum) - detachable handle and attachments make getting into hard to reach places easier - swivel base makes maneuvering easy - can get under most furniture with little issues - lightweight - multi surface, deep clean on carpets and high suction for hard woods is perfect for my apartment with both floor types. cons - non detachable base, wish this would let you detach the canister from the base for getting higher to reach places - cord is non-retractable and gets in the way while cleaning overall, its fantastic for the price and does a great job at getting everything up. I don't have any pets but for the 'clean freak' I am, this does a great job at getting everything.

This is an okay vacuum cleaner. I have had it for about three months, and I use it weekly. I have a medium hair cat that sheds like crazy in between shaves. It picks up the fur and other dust and debris just fine. However, I have a few concerns with this vacuum that I want to address. 1) Is the forceful air blowing from the bottom really necessary? I feel like it blows dirt and cat fur around. It's very forceful. 2) I can see where the Bissell engineers were coming from when they designed the handle / hose combo. While the hose can easily be unlatched from the handle for more precise cleaning, the handle is permanently stuck on an "extender mode", to compare with vacuums without a handle / hose combo, so it becomes very awkward and clunky to use when you need reach -- but not quite that *much* reach. Which leads me to.... 3) Because the handle plugs into the body, there is a bit of give. I am constantly feeling "pop, pop, pop, pop" when vacuuming back and forth. It constantly bumps against the release lever. I feel this could have been made a lot more flush in its housing. As it stands, the constant "pop, pop, pop, pop" is really annoying. It makes me feel like it is made cheaply. 4) The dirt cannister is noticealy smaller than previous Bissell vacuums I've owned. My last vacuum was a Bissell 1831 with a 2 liter capacity. This one has a 1 liter capacity. I did not compare prior to purchasing, but it seems a strange choice to reduce the dirt cannister capacity. Overall, this thing vacuums okay, but it is annoying to use. It's largely due to the awkwardness and clunkiness of the wand tool that I am not entirely satisfied with this product. Perhaps my feelings will change with time; perhaps not.

Easy assembly. Powerful! I have a Dutch Shepherd and a Long Hair Border Collie. It removes their blown coats easily. I am a Husky breeder and rescuer and this works amazing for their hair. Clean it out often. Love the see through design fo the beater bar. A+++

This is my second bissell, and I love this one way more than my first one. I’m not sure where some of these negative reviews are coming in, unless maybe it was from defective ones. This one is lightweight but powerful! It’s got great suction. We have 2 dogs, one is a cattle dog mix so she sheds like crazy. I love the pet attachment tool that comes with it. After researching a few vacuums, I’m glad we went with this one!

We replaced our 15+yr old vacuum with this item. It is much lighter to push. It does a great job on pet hair and is easy to empty and clean out. The handle/wand is okay. It’s a little bulky. The power brush attachment works very well, but the combo crevice tool is not great. It does neither thing well (brush or crevice). Would have preferred a dedicated crevice tool and a 4” wide brush tool. The things we didn’t care for are the cord length and routing. It just doesn’t reach what our old one did and the cord is always in the way. The tilt pedal is fine, but the power switch foot pedal is in an awkward position. Sometimes it takes multiple times to turn it on or off. Overall we are pleased with this and the price. If they corrected these issues highlighted it would be a pet hair champ!
