The original purchase of the tea set did not go as planned. I believe the first set that I received was a defective set as it clearly states in the description that the set is dishwasher safe (which the new set I have is perfectly fine) During washing the cups/pot the day after I received the item in the mail, one of the cups broke in the dishwasher...which resulted in a horrible mess. None of the cups seemed to have any cracks etc before placing them in my dishwasher, so I am not sure at all how one of the cups broke. I contacted Amazon and got a replacement for the tea set and the second set is perfect! I can put it through the dishwasher with no issue what so ever. Also to note...this is not a STOVETOP friendly tea set, it is more of an infuser that you pour hot water into. Do not under any circumstances put this over a fire, or on a stove top as the plastic will melt. Overall I love the set it looks amazing and it fits my needs perfectly. It is great for tea bags, loose leaf tea, or tea flowers. I also use mine for coffee and it works out great! (use a filter if you make coffee)

I love this teapot! It is so elegant and I love the see-through design so that I can easily see when my tea is brewed to my liking. The lid fits very well and I haven't had any problems with it falling during pouring like I have in other teapots. It is super easy to clean and overall a fantastic product for the price point.

The basket is a great solution for easily brewing loose leaf tea. It does not clip in, very easy to remove once the tea has reached the strength that you want. The tea pot pours well, easy to clean, and is a good size for one or two people. The plastic feels a bit cheap and the glass a little thin. Unfortunately because of all the plastic you cannot heat it up on the stovetop or use a tea warmer to keep your tea warm after steeping, which limits the usefulness somewhat. I used this for a while and enjoyed it but I will be looking for an all glass/stainless teapot that is more versatile.

I had looked at many options for a teapot. I wanted something that I could make several cups at once and not have to continually turn on my kettle to heat water to make a single cup. I don't drink enough during the day and tea is a great way to stay hydrated. This tea pot is not only beautiful it keeps the tea hot for quite a while which surprised me! It is elegant to look at and really makes me want to brew up a couple of pots a day! I am delighted by the purchase! It would make a great gift, or as in my case, a great way to treat myself kindly! I highly recommend the Primula Half Moon Teapot !

The infuser doesn't reach down far enough. If you want to make one cup, don't bother. The glass "bowl" doesn't come out of the plastic holder. But dirt, water, soap can get between there. I gave three stars because it is stylish and I've brewed tea with it. But its just a show piece to me at this point. The mesh isn't as easy to clean as suggested. You can get to the openly visible mesh. Now try to get into the area where the metal is folded along the bottom of the infuser. I bought a couple as gifts. Never again.

Love this Tea pot… it’s big enough for two medium size cups of tea and I like the easy removal of the strainer
