CKS1401 Smartset AM/FM Dual Alarm Clock Radio with 0.9” White LED Display with 4-Level Dimmer Control, USB-C Charging, and 2-Level Multi-Color LED Decor

I bought this clock because I was tired of having to reset everything after the power goes out because of no battery backup. The clock does set itself automatically , if you’re in the eastern time zone(per the instructions in box) and has 7 different time zones. I have read in the previous reviews that the directions can be difficult, but they didn’t seem to difficult to me and everything was fairly straightforward and no problems settling up. Some also said that you couldn’t select an individual fm channel and can only scan and it selects a local channel for you. This is not correct, as you’re able to select a channel that you want and not just have to settle with the scanned channels. The dimmer is ok as it doesn’t cut off completely(I wish it did) but I can deal with that. The dimmer has like high, medium, and low setting but not off. The sound sounds good and the size is good. The LED light is a nice touch. So,after having this clock 2 days I would say it’s a good clock and I would recommend.

Purchased this clock to replace my old one that was starting to go out. This one is smaller, easy buttons to use. I like the color of the numbers better. The adjustment for the dimness is better. I was able to purchase it as like new with cheaper price. I like how Emerson makes a clock that resets itself!!

Needed to replace old alarm clock. Picked this one as it was very reasonably price and best of all the clock resets itself after power outage. It didn't come with instructions, but after researching internet for manual, I was able to set up various features with no problem.

I’m giving this clock radio five stars because it truly does what it advertises, the clock sets itself accurately automatically once removed from the box and powered up. And the clock face can be easily dimmed to suit your needs. The radio is just OK, and tuning is only possible by hitting the scan button - in other words there’s no knob to turn to move up and down the “dial”. Once you find a station, you can push another button to put it into memory for easy recall. Radio reception seems adequate, but I’m in a 50 unit apartment building. That’s difficult to get good reception with the best of equipment. So it may perform better than adequate elsewhere. I bought this mostly for the clock and less so for the radio. The easy clock set-up is a big plus, as we all know how frustrating it can be to set the time on these digital clocks. Finally, for the price I would say this is an excellent value.

nice looking clock radio, radio works good, but the charging port doesn't. That was one of the reasons I selected this clock radio, very disappointing that the charging port doesn't work!

This alarm clock is perfect! We wanted an alarm clock for my child because he’d get up randomly at 3am and start turning on his lights in his room to play thinking he could get up. I told him he needs to go back to bed unless it’s 6am or later (unless he’s sick of course) then he can get up. It’s worked perfectly. Now he’s gained independence goes back to sleep on his own. Also, he wanted a clock radio like I had for finding radio stations, but he didn’t want bright scary red numbers so we use the white color display on the dim setting not to effect his sleep. The clock is always on time no need to set, self adjusting, and it’s easily visible from across the room. We don’t use the alarm so I can’t tell you what it’s like but he loves it. 6 months in and so far it’s great!

Was able to start up time and use radio. The instruction are difficult to understand. Very small writing.

Not a good experience with this one. Two button functions were backwards, did not operate the indicated function!!. The worst part is that the seller approved the return but the customer had to pay the return shipping charge. This is acceptable. Where is the QC ???.
