Really cool product when used with other godox 2.4 equipment. Love that it is rechargeable and even comes with a neat case! Awesome!

Recently begun moving my flash system from the OEM equipment to Godox and it’s been a game changer. I use Canon equipment professionally and Sony for personal work so being able to use the same lights for both and just buying two versions of this transmitter has actually saved me money. The touchscreen that clearly shows the settings and being able to adjust the power of each lighting group by sliding a finger has sped up the process over my old transmitters where you were button pressing through various menus to make a change. The speed of the system has also got rid of those awkward moments in front of a model when you’re desperately trying o remember which menu system holds the setting you want to adjust! A top product that has held up to daily use. For the cost it’s a no brainer for me.

Great, very compact and works nicely. Had a problem with firmware update on the first one but returned it and second one is fine. Nice that it charges from USB C like my camera chargers.

Excellent control for Godox flash guns. This fires my V350 and V1. So easy to use compared to other Godex triggers. Small, compact, great product.

This Godox X3 wireless flash trigger for Nikon cameras does everything that the master flash can do except that instead of having to have a heavy flash unit mounted on the top of your camera or, use an off-camera lead to fire the master flash, this unit is the master and all of your flashes exist as slaves in groups. Simply set up your flashes as you would normally do but instead of have one as a master, assign it to a group and put it in RX mode - the orange screen. You can now treat it the same as the other flashes except that instead of having to crane your neck around, trying to read the display and then adjust it, it is all on top of the camera. This fits on the hot-shoe and talks to the camera via its contacts and as these are different for many camera manufacturers, the X3 wireless flash triggers are all different to each other - the X3-N1 is designed for Nikon cameras. Apart from the contacts on the hot-shoe, the trigger unit has a colour OLED display on the top giving it a very wide angle of view, a USB C port for recharging it as well as the button you press to release it from the camera on the back and on the right, there is the on/off/mode button, the flash trigger button and a wheel button that you rotate to select from the on-screen menus or change a value; and, press to select an option. There are additional features that you can access with this rather than by using a particular flash as the master and that includes being able to turn on and off the modelling lights either individually or all at the same time, and, change the intensity of them as well. You can also select the multiple flash mode and have them all flash simultaneously. The two big advantages of this are: that you are not physically connected to one of the flash units - whether that is with it mounted on top of the camera or via an off-camera lead; and, that you can change the parameters on all of the other flash units without having to crane around one of the units - it is all done on the top of the camera. This makes it all a lot easier.
