I got this device today. So far so good with using it. The device comes with a USB-C - USB-C cable, USB-C to USB-A, HDMI and DisplayPort cables too. Its all you'll need, and the USB-C to USB-C cable is high-spec. The only technical hiccup is Mac OS refusing to see two separate external displays one through DisplayPort and the other through HDMI, but the advertisement mentions this issue and it is a Mac OS problem. I remedied it by using a separate HDMI on one of my monitors and switching its input. Not ideal, but also not a problem caused by the device. If I were to change one thing, I would reverse the designation of the computers. "PC1" refers to the laptop connected just through USB-C while "PC2" refers to the desktop connected through USB-C, HDMI and DP. It makes more sense for the Desktop to be PC1 as its more permanently fixed.

I've got two FHD 24" monitors that are fairly basic with a single DP and HDMI input each and wanted to find a KVM that worked with my Mac Mini M4 as well as my work laptop (Surface laptop) or my wife's (HP). Most KVMs that could handle two monitors for Mac were significantly more, and this one works. The laptops use the USB-C input into the KVM switch. The Mac has a USB-C input for peripherals, then I use the HDMI out of the Mac to the KVM, and use a USB-C to DP cable from the Mac to the KVM as well. This has worked well and have gotten everything to work as planned. The Mac successfully runs with extended display across both monitors. Other bonuses, the build quality on the Anker is nice. The remote has a magnet built into the base which helps it stick to a monitor base and keep it fixed on the desk. Objectively, I wish it were a tad smaller, to keep it tucked away in my under-desk tray, but it's definitely smaller than most KVMs so I can't complain. It does require a separate power supply that has a pretty big transformer brick, but again, it charges the laptops quickly through USB-C and simplifies plugging in so I can't complain too much. Great quality product that does exactly what I needed at a reasonable price point.

So you have a desktop with the usual USB and DP/HDMI ports. You have a laptop (Macbook, Windows, whatever) that can do charging/video output/peripheral input via one USB-C connection. And you want to have a desk space where you can use the same monitor, keyboard, and mouse for these computers with minimal faff and minimal wires. Seems simple, right? Except this is literally the only product I've found that handles this all seamlessly! My wife and I share a desk, and this is perfect for allowing me to keep my desktop tower at that desk, while also making it simple for either of us to plop down and use our work or personal laptops with a second screen and good peripherals. One button press, and you're good to go. I can't recommend this enough for people in a similar situation (which I'm guessing is an increasing population in the post-COVID work from home age?) This isn't a perfect product - as others have said, it's quite plastic-y, the wired remote is a bit annoying, and it's certainly pricey. I would love to see competition for this device from some of the other big players in the dongle/hub market (UGreen?) However, if you're someone with a similar setup who doesn't mind paying a bit extra to save desk space and have the minimal wires possible, this is a great product. Very happy with the purchase so far.

Given the cost of this KVM relative to others on the market I was expecting a premium product, unfortunately this was not the case. The build quality feels very poor, the entire case is made of a cheap plastic. I ended up returning it and opting for a much cheaper alternative with a better quality build.

the docking station doesn't detect the laptop when the system is powered on or after sleep. I have to unplug the usb-c cable and plug it back in. After a month, the switch to toggle between computers stopped working. Not recommended at all. Found kceve docking station less expensive and has better performance than this one.
