Does it cover succesfully gray hair and its long lasting? very hard now a days to find quality product.** A: Not good at all. I used it, and not even two weeks later all the color had washed out, and I'm not an excessive hair washer. Also, it's very drying. **Q: My wife has been using 50. Is 51 lighter or darker?** A: 51 is very slightly lighter and with a very pleasant touch of "unnoticeable" red. It is a personal choice, so she should try 51. I think she will like 51 if she likes a medium brown color. **Q: What volume developer is used in the box?** A: Although it does not say, I am sure it is a 20 volume. I was a professional hairdresser for 25 years, so more than just a guess. I use only this on my hair. Have for years. The question shows blue black.
