Works well at keeping the bugs away. Powerful smell so even though I sat about 6 ft away it still kept bugs at bay!!

I ordered two of these candles and received them last week, very quick delivery. They are great! We've had a problem with mosquitoes this summer and have used several things to deter them and these candles noticeably help with the problem. Also, they smell wonderful with their mix of citronella, mint and lavender, so much so, that I will continue to order them well after the summer season/mosquito problem has passed. They also burn slowly which is a bonus and will make them last much longer than others we have tried. They have a nice design to them also, the glass mason jar doesn't get so hot it's hard to move while burning as so many outside citronella candles are placed in metal containers and the simple design of their label looks nice on our outdoor tables. You can't go wrong with this purchase, trust me, if I'm writing this long of a review on a candle, it's because we've wasted money on some bad choices and just happy we've finally solved our problem!

I really like this candle. I only have one problem with it. I may be doing something wrong but it seems that the wick is too short. My husband and I had to go to an elaborate process of adding another wick like material to it for the candle to burn properly. Now that is gone and I am trying to find ways to continue to use the candle as it is only half way gone. Other than that, all was well. The scent is the best!

LOVED the smell! Really did keep the bugs away. Couldn’t keep it lit. Wicks were too short to stay above the melted wax. I tried draining it on several occasions but it wasn’t melting consistently and the weeks drown every time. After 30 minutes the wicks were 1 inch below the outside wax. Still Have kudos for the smell and the effectiveness while it was burning.

I originally bought this candle because I wanted a jar candle for my table at my camper. I loved the label as it said no see um bugs. The scent is delightful and it works. I actually ordered 2 more for a July 4th party and everyone was asking where I got the candle. Will definitely be a regular summer order.

Works great and smell isn’t too strong. It was October and were swimming in our pool in Arizona. The mosquito’s came out and this candle made them all go away. We were very happy. Plus it was better than those strong stinky citronella candles. A little pricey wish it was around $12 I would buy more For gifts. But I understand the RIO. Loved it.

Works! Used this on the front patio for Halloween and kept the mosquitos away. We were getting swarmed by mosquitos the previous nights and many bites. Lit this along w/ 5 of the "murphy's naturals tea lights" and kept the mosquitos completely away. People commented on how nice they smelled and told us they were getting bit up pretty bad up the street. These work and highly recommend.

Really like the scent, cute packaging and love the all natural/locally created aspects of this product. I’m willing to pay a little extra for local/natural products. My yard is overrun with mosquitoes. While these candles don’t completely solve the issue, they definitely help. Will absolutely buy again.
