You just plug in your SD or Mirco SD card into it and plug the reader into a USB on your computer . But if your using the Samsung reader try formatting your card before you use it . I go to (my PC) and right click on the SD card then scroll down to format and then click the start . That will clean everything off the SD card . I do it after every download .
