Tailors chalk. Mislaid mine and it is a must for all sewers unless there is something else out there that I am not aware of. I grew up using tailors chalk to mark patterns, create patterns going around an already made up item. For instance I wanted to make trousers, so I bought a large roll of tracing paper, tailors chalk and drew around the back and front of a folded in half past of jeans and it worked. Saves buying patterns too. Functions as it should. Quality is great but don't be rough with it, it is still just chalk which can break. It is a great shape to use, very ergonomic. 4 different colours thick in the middle going out to narrower sides as in the pictures displayed by the seller.

This chalk produces very pigmented and sharp lines. It is really easy and straightforward to use. For reference, I've just recently started learning how to sew, and using this chalk has made tracing sewing patterns onto fabric a breeze. The only thing I will say, however, is that the pieces of chalk are thin and break easily, but this is expected anyway, and you are still able to use the smaller pieces if you do drop them and they break by accident. For size reference, they are normal, compared to other tailor's chalks I have used. Also, the different range of colours is amazing, as some chalk colours don't show up on similar coloured fabrics well, so having a contrasting colour helps. (For example, if you are using blue fabric, you don't need to use the blue chalk; you can grab any of the other three, like red or white.) The price is also affordable, and it came the next day with Prime!
