It was very easy to work with. I used the wire type of cheese slicer to cut off slices that are all of the same thickness. Having put the keyboard back together, I think there's a slight difference in result. Nothing Earth-shattering. But - it thocks. I suppose that having success in my use of this product says nothing much about the general value of the product itself though. It's 'clay'. It is suitably moldable. Sticks pretty well to plastic. And it's heavy. That's all that I needed from it. All its other potential attributes must be assessed by someone else with knowledge of them. I will say that I was surprised by its color. I expected it to be picket fence white. In actuality, it's a very light gray.
