The screen itself was perfect and arrived very well protected. It came with all the tools you could possibly need. I’ve replaced about a dozen screens, so I didn’t need them personally, but I was impressed by how much they included especially the suction cup tool. Most kits come with flimsy suction cups, but this one was sturdy and worked great. It also came with adhesive for the back and an instruction booklet, which most aftermarket screens don’t include. While the display quality isn’t quite one to one with the original, it still looks great, and the price was right. Out of all the aftermarket iPad screens I’ve bought, this was easily one of the best..

This screen replacement has significant functional design flaws. Firstly, the advertised "10.2-inch" size does not match the actual screen dimensions of the iPad 9th Gen, which should be an 8.2-inch Liquid Retina display. This discrepancy caused noticeable gaps around the edges after installation. Secondly, the display quality falls far short of the advertised specs—measured brightness is only around 300 nits, much lower than the original screen’s 500 nits, making it nearly unusable outdoors. Another major issue is the degraded Touch ID recognition. Fingerprint unlock attempts frequently fail with "Try Again" prompts, indicating compatibility flaws with the Home Button components. Additionally, the USB-C port cutout is misaligned by approximately 1.5mm, forcing the flex cable to bend unnaturally and posing a short-circuit risk. The included double-sided adhesive also lacks sufficient strength—the screen began lifting at the edges within a week. For a product marketed as a professional repair kit, such basic errors in sizing and component compatibility are unacceptable. The manufacturer should recalibrate their molds and upgrade the display driver chips to meet genuine specifications.

After my IPad screen started having light streaks on one side and went black a few months later, I wasn’t about to drop a bunch money with apple after only two and half year on a new one. I was skeptical on buying a aftermarket LCD screen but after several months of use, I’m really happy with this one. Install was easier than expected, screen clarity is as good as original and everything is working as it should. Time will tell but for around $75, this has been a good deal.

Update. Still working no complaints really other than a noticeable difference definitely not as bright as original apple screen: Skeptical and nervous because no where does it say this lcd is new or used. so i hoped and prayed it was new. nope it’s used you can’t see damage and at each screw hole so it’s been installed previously. why i went with this was because it was not the cheapest amazon had. however i did install it and it worked right away so i’m relieved but not thrilled it used. i put a picture how it looked when i opened the box.

They sent me 2 defective screens in a row. The first one had white lines running vertically across the center of the screen, so i had it exchanged for a replacement. The replacement is better, but there is a line of dead pixels running vertically down the right side of the screen. I've replaced dozens of iPad screens and never seen quality this poor before. Unfortunately the customer i am repairing this for needs it back ASAP, so i will likely need to give them a substantial discount due to the dead pixels and possibly take a loss on this repair.

Just replaced 8th gen iPad lcd and this one works all good! Well packaged, good tools, some basic instructions. Was actually relatively easy to do this. I’d recommend using glue alongside the sticky strips to definitely prevent screen from unattaching. You definitely don’t want to deal with a screen unattaching after a week.. (T7000 or even B7000 glue possibly. T7000 is probably better since it’s specifically for electronic repairs but b7000 is good too and what I used). Didn’t even know this kit comes with a suction cup I ordered separately but am glad to have it actually. Worked well. Would recommend. Use other gloves. I think these are maybe normal kind of rubber gloves, not the kind that doesn’t leave prints. Don’t want to touch the digitizer or lcd especially with anything that leaves prints.
