Doesn't work correctly
Bought the cheaper model and didn't work even through 1/4" wood so I returned it and bought this because it said it works through 3"+ wood and I need it to work with only 3/4" wood well when this is laying on any wood with no metal around it doesn't work whatsoever but if you dangle it from the wire it works also if you place it on wood while dangling from the wire it will turn on/off its weird and wish it worked or explain why its not working it seems simple and I see no other way it can be installed

This works great.
I have a hutch where I made a jewelry cabinet on the top half. My husband installed this little device, so that I could have a light inside. It's so nice to be able to just touch it and the lights come on and another quick tap, turns it off again. I like this little gadget and would recommend it.

mount behind 3d print
put behind ornamental 3d printed trim and it works great

Finicky little stinker
Don't advertise false promises. This item will not work behind any material blocking sensor. No way the mount behind the cabinet promise is viable, works fine though with button out in open so for that purpose OK

Disappointed
Thought it was too good to be true. It is not. Does not penetrate through thin wood as was advertised. Wire and connector insulation are insufficiently thin for line use. I ended up using another solution. Glad I didn’t waste too much money on it.
