Will the liquid nitrogen tank have liquid nitrogen in it when I purchase it?

Please note that the liquid nitrogen dewar is sold empty. However, most local medical facilities or welding suppliers can assist you in filling the tank with LN2. Some places may require you to sign a liability waiver before they perform the filling

A full tank of liquid nitrogen can be stored statically for up to 1 month without opening the tank during the day. The evaporation rate can be affected by factors such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, and frequent opening of the container.

Can this liquid nitrogen tank be used for transportation when filled with LN2?

The YDS-3 is primarily designed for storage purposes. For transportation, it is recommended to use the provided thick protective cover and ensure that the container remains upright to prevent any leakage or spillage of liquid nitrogen.

How can I measure the amount of liquid nitrogen remaining in the tank?

You can use a solid small plastic rod or a solid small stick. Insert it into the tank, touching the bottom, and wait for 5 to 10 seconds. The length of the frosted section on the rod indicates the height of the liquid nitrogen.
