I just put it over the du rags because they all fit so well. The brush is great because the bristles are a little longer than more brushes but aren’t too soft. This works well for my hair. I’ve also never used the pocket flat brush you hold with your finger. I think that is what helped create the picture you see. This is only 3 days of me using this product.
