Worked Perfectly!
Easy to install! Directions were a breeze to follow. Fit was better than new OEM! Quality appears excellent as I've been using this for several months now with no more issues. Plenty of YouTube videos to show you what to expect. Use a regular size pair of Channel-lock pliers. Installation took less than 5 minutes!

It works!!! GMC Savana 3500
Driving back from San Diego to South Texas we stopped to get gas at a station in the middle of nowhere. When we went to start back up the transmission wouldn't shift. Husband got under the truck and found the bushing had disintegrated. We rigged it with zipties to get home and ordered some replacements from amazon and got another set locally from an auto parts store. Spent over an hour trying to get one of them to fit into the cable but no luck. Found this system and it actually named our Savana on the package and the kit totally made sense for installing it onto a truck in the driveway. Husband put a little grease on it and it popped into place in under a minute. Just wish we could get a few extra backup bushings for those 3000 mile round trips.

Fit just as described
Worked just as described and fit perfectly on 2011 Escalacle ESV Platinum. Not sure how the original part snapped in but Im hopping this will be secure enough to last the 100K miles that the original did.

Worked great
Fit my Impala perfect. Couldn’t find a replacement in stock in any parts store. Found this here and took a chance, it came in quick and fit perfect. Was hard to believe this little piece of plastic was keeping me from driving my car.

something that is necessary . . . . stupid expensive!!
Save your time and effort. You need this. It looks 3D printed. Simple device. I am not a mechanic. As you can see from the photo, everything is in plain site. I did not need to lift the car. (2011 Chevy Tahoe) Easy to get to. Because of how that grommet has to "click" into place, nightmare. Nothing worked. Either the grommet collapsed under pressure trying to squeeze it in or tore it trying to use something similar to push it into place. Wasted so much time for a simple repair. I broke down and ordered it. Could not find it locally in any of the parts places. Wasted 90 minutes trying to get this grommet installed. From the time it took to crawl under the car, insert the grommet and press it into place might have been 10 minutes. I followed the instruction and it "clicked" into place on the first try. I was pressed for time and had to order it. Had I known i would have waited the extra day or two to get it locally much cheaper. Bottom line, you got to have the tool. definitely not mechanic quality. did it get the job done. Yes. Easy to use, yes. I think at the very least they could have tossed in a few extra grommets. Just in case.

Not as Easy to Install but works Perfectly
So, I had to install this in limited space and getting pliers in-between the engine and hoses wasn't a simple task. I eventually just took the bushing in my hand and pushed it down with my fingers enough to hold it in place. When I locked it into position, it slipped into place on its own. It fit perfectly and now the gears shift with ease. A great replacement but not as easy to install as they make it sound. Well worth the price.

Bushing lasted 2.5 years, stranded us down the road in 111 degree heat.
When my wife called me to tell me her transmission stopped working, my heart stopped. When I found that all it was is a worn out bushing on the shifter linkage, I was relieved. Thank god I looked on YouTube, I found out about this quick fix and decided to give it a try. The video told me it would take less than five minutes to fix it, with this part and tool, it is true. Best money spent!

I purchased a cheaper bushing on amazon.ca but proved to be useless because it slipped off every other day (I did return it). This product is 2.5 times more expensive but IT WORKS! No more going underneath the van and put the bushing back on the cable. Installation was straightforward (make sure you watch the video on the manufacturer's website), took me 5 minutes. You get what you paid for.
