I sit in a lazy Boy and every time I got up had to discharge before touching sensitive electronics. So far this has worked well, just plugged in and connected alligator clip to the chair. Oh! The one review that says "Scam" not connected to ground, mine is connected. That was the first thing I checked with an ohm meter to make sure the ground plug was the only one connected because it does plug directly into a hot wall wart. It's a little pricey for what you get, could have made my own cheaper. Should only run about $15. Gave a five star for now, want to see how it works when the static really builds this winter with dry air and forced heat.

Zero stars. I bought one in 2022 and have been using, didn't see much of a difference. Recently my brother came over to help me with some electronics and asked me about it. He checked it and there was no continuity between the wall ground and the opposite end. Don't buy this and if you do check it right away. It to late for me to do anything but to send out a product unchecked is a disgrace.

I spend hundreds of dollars to upgrade my laptop at home. The last thing I wanted was static discharge to damage my new parts. This grounding cable gave me peace of mind. The fact is used a grounded plug, rather than my having to attach it to a grounded piece of metal, made it very easy to use.

The cord is very long and very thin. I plan to be very gentle with it. But it works perfectly for grounding Earthing sheets, mats and patches as well as testing body voltage. It does seem to be a little pricey though.

I used the grounding cord along with the grounding bracelet to help discharge static electricity during these dry winter months. The Elgato Stream Deck device is wonderful but VERY susceptible to shutting down due to static shock and the grounding cord along with the bracelet has completely eliminated my problem. I’m so pleased with its performance straight out of the box. Very simple and effective device.

The alligator clip is very strong and the length of the cord is great. Downside is right at the plug, the braiding is frayed right out of the package.
