3084 Drop Leg Holster, Ambidextrous

I use a Beretta 92A1 with a streamlight tlr-1 HL. Fits perfectly! The hood is not a SLS and is just a push forward hood, but it is nice and stiff and I dont think it will lose retention and become loose. It works great for retaining the pistol but it does ride very close to the tang of the pistol and using it without gloves can shred your thumb. So just a learning curve with that. Other than that works great! Also I was hoping to switch the hood to an SLS but you will not be able to because the screw holes do not line up.

First of all I chose this item because of the overwhelming approval have heard for Safariland overall. I was a little skeptical about buying this product, because I was afraid of having to get used to a new method of drawing my handgun in a job environment that (stupidly) doesn't allow me to practice my draw very much (it's frowned upon here.) After picking up this holster, it didn't take long for me to get used to the simple (yet strong) retention system. I have used a Serpa and many other holsters throughout the years and have finally settled with a Safariland, only wishing i would have started using this holster years ago instead of the others. I haven't had to use the ambi feature on it, since I am just left handed, however I'm sure I could pass it off to someone to use whether they are right or left handed. This holster is very, very strong, i have already banged it up against many things at work, and nothing has happened to the retention, or even the cosmetics. The elastic leg straps are amazing, durable , and of course they are extremely comfortable. The buckles are thin, yet strong and hold together without worrying about them breaking apart when running (or hell, even walking with some holsters) I had to do a few adjustments on mine before wearing it, (such as making the handgun sit as high as possible on my leg), it was an easy adjustment and the only tool you need is located inside the holster for any quick fixes you'll need later. If you haven't purchased a drop leg holster yet, and you are debating with yourself about which one to get, save yourself the time, stop looking at SERPAs, and purchase a safariland product.

Only reason there is a star, is because amazon won't let me review without one. I have ordered this twice. Both times it was the wrong one, totally wrong model, in the wrong package. Both were only left hand, one did take the weapon light, but again left hand only, not ambidextrous. Do they have the right one? Does anyone make sure of what is being sent out, or are they just clueless about what they are selling nor bother to verify packaging and product match? I give up, I don't have time to play this game of returning crap, refund is my last option here, and hope I can find it at safariland. Buyer beware!

Great holster. I thought I should mention that the holster comes with an allen wrench that you will need to use to adjust (the bottom screw if I remember correctly) the tightness of how tight the holster will grip the weapon. Without adjusting it...my weapon would have just fallen out of the holster if turned upside down. Would give 5 stars if the thumb retention guard locked into place like some of their other models...too bad that's not an option. The fact it can accommodate just about any light/laser combo is pretty amazing though. I was going to buy a tactic if I hadn't found this....

Fits a M9A3 with TLR1. I am very happy to have found a holster for this. It takes a bit to get used to woth the retention but works great!

Extremely happy with this holster! I have the M9 with a TRL flash light and was at first not sure what to think about the adjustment piece for the flashlight section of this holster. I have used this numerous times and it fits like a glove (what would expect from safariland) and the flashlight attachment is great! The price might be a detractor for some but you have to pay for quality and this is a quality piece.

Fits Beretta M9A3 like a charm. More than I expected, with the QLS, works great with all safariland a high ride belt loop, so you can switch from thigh tactical to belt loops, even have a micro paddle for holster.

It works with M9A3 too fits it perfectly gun dose not move at all inside the holster
