## Overview

The DUST COMMANDER DUST-SP is a precision-engineered pressure relief valve designed to safeguard plastic HDPE drums (up to 60L) from overpressure damage during dust collection. Featuring an adjustable spring mechanism, it automatically opens to relieve vacuum pressure only when necessary, ensuring uninterrupted operation and extending barrel lifespan. Crafted from durable alloy steel and plastic, it integrates seamlessly with DUST COMMANDER CLC, DLX, and HD models, backed by CE and ISO certifications for professional-grade reliability.

## Description

Anti-crushing valve for plastic drums. Consisting of a valve and an adjustable spring, this valve will open automatically to limit the maximum depression in a plastic drum used with a cyclone separator and protect it from entrapment. The spring should be adjusted so that the valve remains closed during normal use and only opens when the suction hose or nozzle becomes clogged. This valve is recommended for the use of DUST COMMANDER CLC, DLX and HD models mounted on plastic drums (60 l max recommended). This valve is not usable for use with our DUST COMMANDER XL and XL+ filters because the vacuum generated by HVLP (high volume, low pressure) systems is not sufficient to cause the collapse of a plastic or kraft vessel. Also the kits with DUST COMMANDER S30, S60, X30 and X60 steel barrels require the use/installation of this valve because they are strong enough not to be crushed in the event of clogging of the nozzle or hose.

Para los que nos hemos llevado el chasco de montar un separador ciclónico y hemos visto con sorpresa como el cubo se aplasta en la primera aspiración. La única dificultad del montaje es conseguir el agujero al milímetro. Yo lo hice con una multiherramienta tipo "Dremel" sin problemas. Se puede regular para no perder poder de succión, pero la verdad es que con mi aspirador Karcher no se aprecia la diferencia. Es un poco caro para el artículo que es, pero funciona correctamente. Sorprende el tamaño tan pequeño, pero... ¿para qué más? Recomiendo su compra pese a todo.
