The cap will be too small to fit all your hair in. Like it says on the package, this is swimming cap fit. **Q: Can this be used to make a u-part wig?** A: Yes it can be used but some hair clips would be needed on the wig to pin it to the hair. Love it! If you do not like the elastic band, you can cut it off and still make full use of the mesh cap alone as a cap. Maybe, qfit will create a cap without the elastic band; for those of us that don’t like the pressure that bands have on the head. Originally, I ordered 4 and have experimented with removing the elastic for upart wigs, and keep band for closures/frontals.
