Hi, because this oven comes from continental Europe, the plug supplied is a continental European one. What you need is an EU-to-UK adapter. (Or pay 1.5 times more for the UK-shipped Severin oven...) Hope that helps. :)

(July 2021) As this particular listing for the Severin oven is from Amazon EU, it comes with a 2-pin continental European plug. There is another listing for the same oven from Amazon UK --- that probably comes with the 3-pin plug. Hope this helps. :)

China, but made for the German market. They are very good though for the price.

One wire shelf and one solid shelf. Never tried to buy extra shelves, Never needed to.
