It is a commander sized 1911 with a threaded barrel and an accessory rail underneath. Unfortunately, this particular holster did not fit the pistol. However, I must say that for #12D (holster listed here) quality and toughness were spot on.I contacted Remora to start the return/refund process, because no holster I have viewed for this particular pistol would fit correctly (including two holsters previously returned to different manufacturers). Much to my surprise I was contacted by Remora asking for pictures of the firearm along side the #12D holster that did not fit.
