My house is super cold and it feels like even the floors radiate the cold, but without carpet, you will slip. With no grip, you are forced to avoid walking quickly, and I even think it contributes to some foot pain from tensing the feet in order to stay balanced with every step. Wanted to test them out and see how much I could compromise from the felt bottoms because they are completely made from wool and high quality materials while being affordable, but it doesn't make sense. I wore them around the house for about 10 minutes just excited about them trying to convince myself to keep them, but I had to submit myself to the truth in that it just wasn't worth the inconvenience, discomfort, and risk of slipping.It's a shame though. If there were hard bottoms, I would definitely keep them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love the fabric *by E***O on March 12, 2018* I love the fabric, the warmth, and the comfort of these slippers. I am used to wearing socks around the house so the slip in the slippers was fine. I can quietly guide all over the place! I do wish I had read the reviews before I ordered, for I also found the slippers a half size too small. My older daughter, with smaller feet, will love them--right after I get the replacement pair I will be ordering in the next five minutes. ### ⭐⭐ Too Wide *by J***S on October 5, 2018* I love the material of these wool slippers but the footbed was much too wide, it is extremely wide so that your foot doesn’t stay put in the slipper, and you have to strain your foot to keep them in it. I couldn’t go down a size to see if it would help either because my foot was already barely in the footbed.
