Great light and looks classy. Great for a pathway or garden.

I'll first say that Amazon and the Seller were great and very responsive. However, sadly, the solar post light set was a huge bust. I received the set of 2 solar post lights, followed instructions, let the batteries charge in the sunlight. At dusk, one of the lights worked, but the other light was defective. I set up a return/replacement with Amazon and a couple of days later, the replacement set arrived. The exact same thing happened...one of the lights worked and the other was defective, and after an hour, the working light would go on for 5 seconds and turn off (when it was in the "on full-time" setting). I contacted Amazon and they put me in touch with the seller. After reaching out to the seller, the seller sent me a replacement set of lights, no questions asked and was very responsive. The replacement set arrived today and I let the batteries charge in the sunlight. At dusk, both lamps turned on, and I thought "FINALLY" both lights work! Unfortunately, after 45 minutes, one of the lights would go on for 5 seconds and turn off (when it was in the "on full-time" setting). After going through 3 sets of lights, I fully understood the different on/off settings, so I know it wasn't user error. So...I give up, and I'm going to return the light set and get a refund. The set of 2 lights was $49, so I wasn't expecting a top-of-the-line light, but I was expecting that they would at least work. I'm glad I didn't waste time installing them...that would have added even more frustration. There are other solar post lights that are quite more expensive, but I am going to go with those lights with the hope that they will actually work. Again, the seller was very responsive, so I wish their product actually worked.

I thought they did not work because even though I charged them in the sun, they would not come on. I pushed the on off button over and over and over again and got extremely frustrated with them. I learned that it requires a long press. If you press it and hold it for about three seconds the light will come on. I didn’t figure this out until after I had taken them apart, that’s why you see the lights lit up in my chair on the patio. I will need to reassemble them to use them outside. The construction and finish of the pole is good. The light itself is pretty lightweight plastic. It looks good now but only time will tell how long it holds up. It has a good size solar surface and being solar powered is great… no wires or batteries.😁

I was specifically looking for solar lamps that come with a 3 inch diameter pole and these are advertised as such so I bought them (based on two answers from the company and the product pics). However, when I received the item the poles are only 1.25 inches in diameter and the top mount of the light is screwed into the pole and does not contain a collar (also as shown). I reached out to the vendor and they were very responsive and exceeded my expectations so I ended up keeping the product. Even though they aren't exactly what I was looking for, the lamps and poles are well made and sturdy and they work as advertised so I've decided to keep them. Overall good buy for the money.

These are beautiful. We installed them in January 25. By late August they quit working. There is no information on the battery, can't replace. They have a 2-year warranty and I've notified the seller. Fingers crossed. The other pair are working! (Loghts on brick column)

They were too little to use on columns, but they do put out light on dark night.

While both lights were easy to install however the lights are not consistent. Both are located in the gate columns which allows them to get direct sunlight every day however, most nights only one comes on and when the other one does come on it is very dull. Additionally, they will come on as soon as the sun goes down but goes off about four hours (sometimes in less time) later and if even one goes for the full eight hours the other goes off in the time mentioned above(four hours approximately). Honestly I am disappointed because I have purchased other lights and they work pretty well but these lights dont perform well which is now pushing me to look for other options. Total waste of money . N. B the first photo shows the lights on when the sun just went down and the second photo when one of the lights just went out after approximately 4 hours (and that is every night)

I really like these solar powered lights! Easy to install and gives off lots of light. Illuminated my driveway good. Seem to be well made. Battery lasts throughout the night. Very satisfied with purchase.

Lit up for only 2 hours even though battery charged all day in the sunlight. Seller said that his "studies" showed that this was a problem. Why sell such junk? Who needs a light that barely stays on from 8 pm - 10 pm every night? Returned it to amazon

I never actually installed it, I sent it back, it was plastic, no way it would hold up in a Canadian prairie winter.

Well this solar light lasted about 2 months now only last 30 min with full sun "charging" all day. There's a reason the return period is only 1 month.

These lanterns are very cute. They are not the most modern looking lanterns, but they fit in very nicely with a more timeless look for a garden. I think they look best in a cozy cottage style garden, or with a more traditional outdoor decor. The frames are solid metal with glass inserts, and the top parts that house the solar panels/bulb are plastic. I like that the main part of this is not cheap plastic. Everything that you need to mount the lights comes in the box. You can choose if you want to put them onto a 3" metal post directly, or on top of a 6x6 post. You could also rig something up yourself to put them onto a board or other surface directly if you're handy. It may be a little hard to mount it on a 4x4 post if you have smaller fence posts, without adapting it somehow. Note that these will need an LED bulb. The light itself is not integrated. It has a housing for a standard sized light bulb - same size that you put in standard light fixtures. The lights did come on even in dimmer weather. I made sure to charge them for a good 8hrs as recommended prior to using them. There is a mirrored surface on the bottom of the lamp that helps reflect the light nicely. It is nice that the solar panels are around the whole light fixture. This looks nice and symmetrical, and also ensures that the light is picked up no matter what time of day/direction of light. Overall these seem like good quality lights. Hard to tell how they will hold up over time as we just installed them, but judging by the solid metal construction and real glass shades, it seems care has gone into providing a quality product. If I experience issues outside of a normal lifespan I'll update this review.
