It actually works
It looks a little bit flimsy and the camera bounces around when you walk about but the footage actually looks as steady as I had hoped. I'm surprised but pleased.

Works exactly as described.
Used on my pocket 3 and could immediately see the difference in up down stability compared to without it. It is better to use it without the extra battery I think as the extra weight puts more of a strain on the Spring mechanism and reduces the benefits but given its price its definitely worth it to add a little bit more of a stable movement to video footage. Also there is no issue with the Spring locking in place using the adjustment setting lock button on mine. Recommended.

Works as advertised, one small flaw
It does exactly what you think it does. It needs to be tuned a little but then it becomes perfect. But there is one issue... They didn't account for the weight of the battery handle. You can use this only with the normal mount handle.

It's cheap, lightweight, and WORKS; easy to modify to make it silent, too.
These are actually GREAT, AND you have to be smarter than the stuff you're working with in order to 1.) make it work properly for you and 2.) make it NOT make echo-y spring noises, but I have The Faith in you! You can do it! I did it via gaff tape and toilet paper... Creative problem solving a technical challenge is right up the film maker alley! This works better than the Tilta if you are using a Pocket 3 or Action 5 because this is LIGHT and super simple to use; you just have to get that noise issue solved (which is easy) and you're saving yourself LOTS of money in many ways.
