I was skeptical about her finding any compression stockings because her legs are so swollen with fluid. After her home health nurse said she needed the highest compression, we found the Jobst stockings with different sizes.I measured the woman's legs and according to Jobst Sizing she should wear a Size Large. I found a better price on Ebay, and placed the order. The compression stocking are so tight we could not get them halfway up the persons leg. This is with the stocking unzipped, and using a little sock they include to get the stocking over the foot.A day later I double checked the measurements I took with the size guide and the Large was the correct size for the woman. Then I decided to see if it would fit my leg, to my surprise I couldn't zip it up on my leg. When I measured my own leg and looked at Jobst size guide, I would wear a Small or Medium but unfortunately the large won't fit.Its a well made stocking, but the zipper seems like it might not be a good idea for people with delicate skin. In no way is this easier to put on then the a plain compression stocking.
