Planet Dog Orbee-Tuff Snowball

My 30kg staffy-rottie cross has destroyed pretty much every toy & chew he's been given except the gold standard of dog chews - kong extreme & and could probably chew through concrete if given long enough (concrete being weaker than magical kong extreme rubber obviously!). The snowball shows small signs of chomping and I feared for its longevity at first but a couple of weeks later and it's still in tact and still holding interest. The boy makes a terrible squelchy slurpy noise while he chews on this but that seems to be the only downside. VERY expensive for a squishy ball but cheap compared to the 20 normal balls he could have destroyed in the same chewing time.

Dog's favourite ball. We had one from last Christmas that did an enormous bounce over back fence into neighbour's garden where we had little chance of retrieving. Very happy to see exact same ball on Amazon, so ordered a replacement. The original one was returned. Dog is soooo excited to have two bouncy snowballs. She is a real chewer and destroys most toys but with these being squidgy silicon they are still intact. So not cheap but great value as they out last any other ball we have ever purchased.

a very durable ball

Bought this for my sister's dog over the holidays and she liked it so much I figured I'd give it a try with my beagle puppy. The snowball is a hollow squishy ball, about the size of a tennis ball, with a hole at the top and another on the bottom. One hole is a little larger than the other. You can put small treats into the ball and, as your puppy rolls it around, the treats fall out for him/her to eat! I like to use the Zukes Mini Naturals, as they fit in easy and only fall out the big hole. I also cut up larger treats like Wellness Well Bites or some biscuits and put 'em in there. The holes are too small to fill it up with creamy stuff like spray cheese or peanut butter, as a tongue won't fit thru them. My puppy loves it when I fill up the ball and plays with it until every treat has been shaken out and eaten. I like to use this as a distraction toy when I go to work or run to the store. He starts playing and often doesn't realize I'm gone until the treats run out. It also works great as a regular play toy. It bounces unpredictably and is easy for him to push around or carry back to me. The lettering wore off within the first few days, but, other than that, it shows no real wear and no nicks. It really is a Tuff ball!

My 13-month-old golden retriever has a powerful jaw and can chew apart even the most durable toys. This snowball toy rates #1 with him- given his choice, this is always the ball he plays with the most. He enjoys chewing on it, chasing it when it bounces, and making a little game of rolling it under the coffee table to see if he can get it back out again. I got tired of getting down to get the ball back out again from under the table, and so bought the pink Venus ball- a bigger ball- which he also loves, but the snowball remains his favorite. It's held up well, only some small cracks around the treat opening with some vigorous chewing. The sticky rubber with which it's made must be fun for my dog to chomp on, plus the minty flavor. He likes this better than his other rubber kong toys! I like it better than the usual tennis ball for retrieving games- it doesn't have dye on it to cause cancer in dogs and stain my rug, and he isn't able to chew off the cover like he would with a tennis ball. It's small enough and light enough to toss inside our house.

My ball crazy lab likes this toy, but doesn't love it. It has held up fine so far, just wish he was more in love with it.
