I have always been a Shark enthusiast but now I am officially a self emptying convert. This vacuum has completely changed my cleaning routine. It’s so lightweight and easy to grab for quick messes, but the "Auto-Empty" system is the real game-changer. I used to hate the cloud of dust that happened every time I emptied my old vacuum, but this takes care of all of that for me. It picks up hair and desert dust from my Tucson floors effortlessly. No cords to trip over, no bags to mess with—it’s worth every single penny.

While this may not be the right tool to use to clean up a box of Captin Crunch that has spilled off the counter all over your kitchen floor, this vacuum is life changing in every other way. Incredibly easy assembly; the head of the vacuum is the perfect size and flexibility to get in, around and under EVERYTHING. It picks up dust, pet hair, dirt, every little particle along the base boards and into the corners. When you're done you can SEE the difference and it is equally wonderful on tile, wood, carpet and rugs. The assembly plugs into a standard outlet so the unit is contantly charged and so light and easy to grab. I am DONE with heavy, awkward vacuums, clumsy cords and wasting time house cleaning with little visible difference. I LOVE the attachments that come with the unit and the empty system that keeps everything clean, neat and out of my way. Back to the Captain Crunch. It doesn't pick up large pieces of debris .. No worries - for that I use a broom and a waste bin, THEN the Shark Clean and Empty to make my kitchen perfect again.

This is the WORST vacuum I have ever owned. This is my 5th Shark vacuum but my first CORDLESS STICK Shark vacuum and I wish I would not have bought it. It CONSTANTLY clogs, the battery life is TRASH, you cannot get more than 10-15 minutes of vacuuming out of it. There is also a major flaw in the design for the auto-empty feature. The door to the debris tank has a magnet on it which is how the machine is able to open it to empty and close it when done without you doing anything beyond placing the vacuum on the charging dock. But the magnet is constantly catching debris and keeping the door from closing so if you do not catch it immediately, you will be vacuuming and empty the debris from the tank all over yourself at the same time. Between the clogging and the constantly having to recharge it before completing daily vacuuming, I just decided to stop using it as it was more of a hindrance than a helpful tool for cleaning my home. The reason I was unable to return it.. I bought this as a Christmas gift for someone else. By the time they had received it and let me know they did not need it, the return window had closed. So I decided to get rid of my older, heavier but very useful shark vacuum and replace it with this one being that I had never had a bad experience with a Shark product. Now that I am unable to use this one and cannot just buy the vacuum I want, I am using a much cheaper brand that I would not have chosen but still works much better than this vacuum. The concept of this vacuum is awesome but the execution was VERY disappointing. And I will never trust a “paid partnership” ad from Shark ever again.

I'm very pleased with this vacuum . It's light weight ,works great and very easy to use. I'd rather use this than a broom. It takes up very little space.

I really like the Shark Clean & Empty Cordless Stick Vacuum overall. The suction is strong, it’s lightweight, and the hands-free empty feature is super convenient especially for quick cleanups. It does a great job picking up everyday messes. That said, I do wish the battery life were a bit longer, especially when cleaning multiple rooms in one go. Also, with dog hair, the hands-free empty can occasionally get jammed and needs a little extra help. Even with those minor issues, it’s still a solid vacuum and has made keeping up with pet hair much easier. I’d definitely recommend it, especially for daily use and quick cleanups!

I have spinal stenosis and several health issues and I’m unable to lift a heavy objects. I use a cane to get around. My niece has this vacuum and recommended it as her husband is quadriplegic in a wheelchair with limited mobility in his hands/arms. It’s perfect for me because it’s lightweight. My husband does the heavy duty cleaning and I help with the lighter easy to reach items. This vacuum suctioned very well, automatically switching from bare floors to carpet without changing a thing. With it being cordless which was a must have on our list my Husband says it’s great for cleaning the stairs. Battery life so far has been awesome! We are able to clean an 1800 sq ft house and still have battery time to spare. We have one small dog and seem to accumulate dust bunnies often, which drives me crazy. This vacuum is so handy we are able to stay ahead of it all. It maneuvers well but my husband said it’s a little tight getting under low pieces of furniture with the beater head on, which it is easy to remove and just use the pipe hose to reach under furniture and beds. Love everything about it except the beater plate wants to pop back up in standing position when I’m vacuuming too close to where my feet are. But, I figured out how close I can come without it doing that. But other than that, this thing is impressive! I woukd definitely recommend this to anyone, especially if you have mobility issues. Very lightweight and yet it’s a work beast!

This vacuum works really well and motivates me to clean my hardwood floors more often. I’ll start by saying this vacuum was such a welcome surprise to my previous one. I bought this to replace an all in one mop vacuum combo from another brand that really delivered poor performance so this one totally outshined the competition. 1) it’s really powerful. I can vacuum multiple times in the same day and it will still collect stuff and it’s chamber that will impress you to see how clean it’s keeping your floors. 2) great battery life. I absolutely love that. I can just keep it on. It’s charging stand, which means that I can pick it up anytime quickly and easily and I know it’s going to be charged and ready to go. When I’m done, I just put it back on its charger. 3) the self cleaning function!! I wasn’t looking for a vacuum with the self cleaning function so that was just an added bonus. I really didn’t think I would care about it, but it is SO NICE TO HAVE. Having a vacuum with a self cleaning function that empties the dust bin for you means that anytime you want to vacuum you simply pick it up off the charger and when you’re done? You simply put it back on the charger, that’s it! It makes it so quick and easy to vacuum (and bonus it’s pretty fun to watch) which means I vacuum more frequently and actually look forward to doing it! 4) the roller brush doesn’t trap hair, thank GOD. I truly despise dealing with hair that isn’t on my head it just grosses me out. I also have 3 pets so not having to deal with cutting hair out of a brush after vacuuming is a literal godsend. 5) pivots from hardwood floors to rug easily. It has an auto detect feature that will automatically increase the suction power when on a rug, which is really nice. 6) the buttons for the attachments feel really nice to click on and off. You know when you have a cheaper product and you feel like you’re almost going to break it to click something or push a button? This is easy to put on and take off attachments and feels like it’s nicely made. And it was a big plus for me that it has a handheld feature that can be removed for vacuuming things like the couch or car. 7) it has three suction power modes; Eco regular and a turbo mode, which gives you more control on battery life if you need it to last a little bit longer but don’t need quite as much suction power. My space is only about 1200 ft.² so I’ve had no issue with battery life. Some constructive feedback I would like to include: 1) it would be nice if it could stand up on its own 2) it can’t lay totally flat, though it can go pretty low and get a little ways underneath the bed 3) Lastly, Shark, can we talk about the aesthetic of this thing? I’m not going say that us women are the only ones vacuuming out here but a lot of women are going to be buying this product and we do not want a vacuum that looks like a drill handle 😂 I was honestly very put off by the way this looks when I first saw it, but the functionality of it made it worth it. I would LOVE to see a nicer looking handle for the future.

I purchased this Shark Clean & Empty cordless stick vacuum in September 2025, but due to a house fire the same day it arrived, the vacuum sat unused for nearly four months. We only began using it regularly after moving back into our home around March 2026. Despite very light overall usage, the vacuum has already failed. The handle assembly separated from the main unit because the connection between the handle and vacuum body appears to be poorly engineered and not structurally robust. This was not the result of abuse, dropping, or heavy wear — just normal household cleaning. For a vacuum in the ~$285 price range, I expected significantly better durability. The design is lightweight and convenient, and the auto-empty feature is a great idea in theory, but none of that matters if the core structure cannot withstand normal use. Our home is small 2 story townhome with 1,500 sq feet and mostly hardwood flooring throughout, so this is not a task-heavy home for vacuuming. What’s most frustrating is that the product effectively failed after only a short period of actual usage time, making it feel like a complete waste of money

I am very happy with my recent purchase! It's incredibly light and easy to use. I particularly appreciate how it automatically adjusts its power based on whether I'm cleaning a floor or carpet. What I love most is the stand station. It's so convenient not having to fix it to the wall, and the auto-cleaning feature is a fantastic bonus. Beyond these features, the 5-year warranty speaks volumes about the quality of this product. I absolutely recommend it!
