A multitude of uses*
Wait is this a tarp or a tarpaulin? Glad you asked, "We'll go way back over a hundred years to 1906, when the word "tarp" became common shorthand for "tarpaulin," so they really are one and the same. They were once made of uniformly heavy canvas that had been treated with tar to make it water resistant (hence the 'tar' part, whereas tarps of today are just as likely to be made from vinyl or woven polyethylene (with a new name of polytarp). They should have reinforced grommets on the sides and corners to attach rope or pegs. All tarps should be waterproof or water resistant. They come in all sizes and colours. Buy what you need. Needed a replacement tarp for one that lasted a mere three months before the grommets / eyelets tore (to be fair it was a cheap tarp and the winds were very blustery). This is also inexpensive and should last longer. *probably, I don't know.

Simple and effective
Large enough for all my outdoor needs. Fairly light for it's size which is nice when carrying it in a pack. Strong and durable quality, and protects you from the mud and ground. Decently waterproof and very versatile. Great for the price.

Absolutely massive LOL which was a bonus for our camping trip. Kept the bottom of our tents off the ground which helped keep the heat in & the wet out. A good choice for anyone heading out into the wilderness for a break!

So far so good.. I have yet to use on a camping trip but on the first inspection it seems to be sturdy, well-made, and suitable for the job in hand. I wouldn’t class it as being lightweight, but then again it looks as though it will withstand some rigorous use

Good quality for the price at less then €20
As far as light tarps go it'd be hard to beat this for the price. Have had this style tarp used for many years and they take a beating for there weight category but compared to heavier tarps they aren't as good durability wise or robustness but that's expected from a lighter tarp. Good product

Just a normal heavy tarp, not sure why it's sold as a 'camping' tarp.
