Yellow Marshmallow Chicks, 3 oz

Alright, so I admit I have never liked peeps myself. But my son had the brilliant idea of roasting them over the fire when we were camping. He requested some and I wasn't sure how I would get them 2 months past Easter. Amazon to the rescue! Turns out that upon roasting the sugar carmelizes over the fire, and you get a delicious hard candy shell with a roasted marshmallow interior. Delicious! I will be buying more for our camping trip in July--they arrived intact, well packaged, and definitely fresh. A bit more expensive this way, but not ridiculous, and amazing to be able to find them in May. Of course next Easter we will be stocking up!

I found the peeps over priced by about 500%; but I have been buying them every since they first came into the drug stores. So I was willing to pay the premium price. They were pretty good, they did not taste quite the same, but I am 77 years old now and perhaps there has been an erosion in my taste. I did not regret the purchase at all. I did in fact enjoy eating the peeps. A fare exchange is no robbery!!!

I bought these for my college kid & she didn’t complain so I’m guessing they were the same-o, same-o. You gotta have Peeps for Easter, right?

The peeps were in perfect condition but the box they came in was squished from all sides other than that they arrived quick and the kids enjoyed them

I needed to give my horse some pills. She is an adopted wild mustang and very suspicious of anything new that I offer her. Someone said "Put the pill in a peep!" It sounded like an idea worth trying, so I placed the order and got the peeps in a few days. I put the pill in a peep. After much sniffing and thinking about it, my mare finally took the peep, pill and all. However, it was like a dog eating peanut butter! She finally gave up and spit out the squashed peep (and of course, the pill). But a happy ending: I offered the peeps to my donkeys and the gobbled them up with no problem at all!

What's to dislike when you like Peeps? Silly question.. lol. I like to open the package & let them get a bit hard. I find it very hard to just have 1, so I buy small packages. I love my "Snowmen Peeps" in my hot chocolate. What's you're favorite way to eat them?
