All places where you don't want to carry a bag or wear a coat but still want and want confidence the phone credit cards wallet are secure and cannot fall out. The strap adjustments are good and should expand for all shapes and sizes. The Pockets are perfect for all the essentials, phone wallet car keys etc, The vest back area is zipped and could hold a light weight kagoule. This is a very well made chest bag with good quality zips and pockets. It should last years of use. Quite how waterproof it is hasn't been tested but You would need to get pretty wet for it to cause an issue. I'm a size 14 and found I could tighten the vest enough to feel secure and relatively unmovable. I have some sensory issues with clothing and this vest is great for staying put, not itching or aggravating and is also lightweight enough. I have a Samsung s21 phone and it fits well into the pocket. There are smaller pockets where I store money/cards and also a key or two. I've worn this at least 30 times now and it's holding well. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this vest.
