The box looked OK, but one of the cutting guide hinges looked different than the other. Somewhere along the way the hinge was damaged. Not good for cutting mats. However Logan shipped a replacement immediately, with an RMA number and return label. All is well that ends well. This is a critical and vulnerable part of the product. I would suggest putting a threaded insert in the base that would line up with a hole in the cutting bar. This could be held in place with a fastener during shipping, which would be discarded bu the customer, or used for storage.. Review: Faulty build on my particular unit - Seemed like a good product until I realized the angles weren't square and would result in improperly cut mats. ## Features - Specialized Blade for Graphics and Mats ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B005GV5GDE | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Age range (description) | Adult | | Blade Edge | Flat | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Blade Shape | Straight Back | | Brand | LOGAN | | Brand Name | LOGAN | | Colour | Silver | | Customer Package Type | Reinforced | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 3 Reviews | | Handle Material | Stainless Steel | | Handle material | Stainless Steel | | Item Length | 152.4 Centimetres | | Item Weight | 12.7 kg | | Manufacturer | Logan Graphics | | Model Name | 008957912704 | | Model Number | 008957912704 | | Model name | 008957912704 | | Orientation | horizontal | | Part Number | 760-1 | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Crafting, Graphic Design | | Recommended uses for product | Crafting, Graphic Design | | Reusability | Reusable | | Special Features | Specialized Blade for Graphics and Mats | | Special feature | Specialized Blade for Graphics and Mats | | Style | Modern | | Theme | Graphic Arts | | UPC | 008957912704 | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Adult - **Blade material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** LOGAN - **Colour:** Silver - **Handle material:** Stainless Steel - **Model name:** 008957912704 - **Recommended uses for product:** Crafting, Graphic Design - **Special feature:** Specialized Blade for Graphics and Mats - **Style:** Modern - **Theme:** Graphic Arts ## Images ![Graphics Simplex Elite 60" Mat Cutter - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61bjgn+6IdL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Service *by A***R on 16 October 2016* First unit was out of square.
