Gives two fingers to five fingers on price and quality. *by J***2 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 October 2018* Even allowing for the size difference as per the instructions this still came up small but was swapped without problem by the seller. Once this was done the fit has been great - very comfortable. Maybe a little warm but see below re barefoot.If you are a trainer runner this may feel a little naked. If like me you are a complete barefoot runner this feels a little too “dead”. The plus side is you can run on really rough and sharp surfaces with impunity. Sole composition seems tough and grippy. The 4 +1 toe arrangement works well.2021 updateThese have been my go to shoes when not barefoot running. They have worn well, (see pics above) still fit and do the job. The fabric insole has come adrift and the upper fabric round the toe shaped rubber sole has come slightly adrift. Fixed with Sugru (amazing stuff).I have had no problem on rough surfaces, steep ascents or descents. The shoes don’t rub or move around. I don’t wear socks as I don’t have any that will accommodate the separate big toe. A wash in a bucket of water and wet suit sanitizer works a treat.All in all more than acceptable performance given the time and wear they have had and still plenty of miles left.This is a quality product.Recommend ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great barefoot feel. *by T***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 July 2018* Nothing to dislike about these shoes. I have been wearing Vivobarefoot and Xero shoes for some time but I find that the Freet give a better barefoot feel. I put this down to the split big toe which I think makes a tremendous difference. They feel comfortable when wet and though I have been using them regularly for some weeks do not show undue wear. I would certainly get a size larger than you normally wear, I had to return the first pair for a larger size.
