Fun science!
We purchased this to make elephant toothpaste. It worked perfectly. It was so easy to make and the entire neighborhood learned a little science lesson! It was so fun. If you have children, I definitely recommend that you look this up and try it. It was so cool!

Works really good with elephant toothpaste.
We use this during our science class, for different types of experiments. This is so fun to use on the elephant toothpaste experiment, when doing a volcano or just for fun projects.

Great for elephant toothpaste experiment!
Worked great for the elephant toothpaste experiment! You have to, of course dissolve it in water first. If you do choose to buy it for this experiment, just remember the chemical reaction is quicker than when you use peroxide and yeast. This means instead of the foam being cold to touch, it produces energy as heat and will be hot to touch

Very weak reaction, but why?
We tried making elephant toothpaste with 1/2 gallon of 12% H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) but for some reason with this iodine the reaction was terribly slow and weak. We repeated the experiment with the other 1/2 of the gallon of H2O2 with bakers yeast and the reaction was much more vigorous. The seal appeared to be incomplete when I opened the bottle. The idodide appeared moist in the bottle instead of dry and powdery like I expected, maybe the moisture deactivated it. Not really sure why our experience was so poor. I have not had iodide that provided the expected results (dissolved iodide pills also did not work) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
