This the series that got me hooked on vamp romance books and I have lived everyone of hers! But then it is my favorite series. If you have read the books before this you will love it. If you haven't, please start with the first book of the series or you won't understand who they are talking about or why they do some things the way they do them. They are all really great stories and so addicting! I wish I just discovered them and then I'd have a bunch to read without waiting for the next one to come out! I found this series on like the second or third book so have had to wait for most of them. Wonderful world that I wish was true! I'd love to meet them and see if I'm a lifemate! Darn it lol. Great book disappointing ending SPOILER
Spoiler!... I love Lynsay Sands books but this ended with me feeling very frustrated. The book is full of twist and turns that will keep you reading non-stop! The sex scenes were well placed without being the main focus of the book. The characters were so well developed that I hated to see it end BUT the ending left me disappointed. I loved grandma Merry and G.G. and when he was involved in the crash I wanted him near death so that Wyatt would use his turn to turn him. Then he would be rushed back to Marguerite where he'd discover Merry was his lifemate!! That's what I wanted!!! While it's true the author may eventually get back to these characters by then I won't remember their backstory.

A Return to More Engaging Writing. Recommended!
I stopped automatically buying Lynsay Sands’ books and checked them out from the library first, because there were several later ones that I hated. Then I stopped reading her books...period... and vowed not to waste my time reading anymore of them. Then I received a notification that this book was on sale, and I don’t know why, but its synopsis appealed to me. I’m extremely glad that I purchased this book because I really enjoyed it. It doesn’t have quite the charm of her earlier books, but it came close. The hero, heroine and supporting characters were engaging. The romance aspect was different in this book, though. . ***SPOILERS*** The initial meeting and falling in love between the hero and heroine did not appear except in explanations given by the hero, because the heroine’s mother wiped it from her memory. This was a crucial element in the plot but it did remove some of the romance element from the story. It was still entertaining but I would have preferred the initial meeting and memory wipe to have bee shown in a prologue. Nevertheless, the romance element was still good, just not as outstanding in some of the author’s earlier works. The controlling mother was the first villain and her characterisation was great. She was thoroughly despicable and it will be interesting to see how she acts once in future works. The second villain was well done. He didn’t appear by name until towards the end of the book, but the possibility of an unknown villain and his presence were foreshadowed during several conversations. After all, there were only so many possibilities for an unknown mortal villain. I did not feel that he appeared out of nowhere. This book had flaws but I consider them to be minor ones and I still enjoyed the story. The writing has improved greatly, though, and has returned to a higher standard reminiscent of Sands’ earlier books. Maybe this book would be closer to four stars for many readers, but it made me happy when I was reading it, so I felt it deserved five stars. There were a few minor editing mistakes and there were a few mild sex scenes. I recommend this book.

Love the Argeneau series
Absolutely love the Argeneau vampire series and Lynsay Sands is one of my top favorite authors as she never disappoints and this story is no exception. This is Elspeth Pimm's story along with mortal Wyatt MacKay who is happens to be her life mate. Elspeth along with her two twin siblings Julianna and Victoria Argeneau Pimms have been smothered and totally controlled by their mother Martine since birth. Elspeth moved from England to Canada to finally get away from her controlling mother and finds her life mate. A lot of action happens in this book and the intrigue will keep you quickly turning pages to see if they will get their HEA and all the evil characters will get their just reward. Great story as usual and cannot wait for the next in the series.

Fantastic books about vampires oops Immortal I mean
Characters in this book are full of what looks like 25 year old parents, children, siblings and excetera. These characters have personality, they are relatable, and at times hilarious. I could tell you what the book is about but if you're not paranormal reader might not consider books by this author. Personally I just love this author and have been collecting some of her books for years and enjoyed them immensely. I haven't laughed so hard or cry or grown in frustration with the characters of the story. I would highly recommend this book. bookwormsuzy

Good read in this series
I chose 4 stars because it was a good read but I wasn't in a rush to read. The earlier books in the series were more riveting. However, this was good solid story with relatable characters and is a stand alone story . It wives previous characters into this book
