**Q: Will this stop all water from going into skimmer?**
A: Yes it does.  Be warned though.  If you lock it on and completely seal off the water, it is extremely difficult to remove.  When I do pool filter maintenance I only lock it on the bottom and the sides.

**Q: Do you need to replace the skimmer frame plate in order to attach the aquadoor coverto the skimmer?**
A: Yes, you need the frame pictured above the cover.

**Q: Are the face plate and lid cover both included in the price?**
A: Yes they were both included and it works well

**Q: My hole pattern doesnt look like that. Do they make a different one.**
A: There are a few different sizes, that I do know for sure. The main thing my pool guy told me was to count the bolts in the skimmer face you currently have, then match the number to those in the Aquador. I did that, even though I wasn’t really believing him, but he was right.

I purchased the Aquador Widemouth Pool Skimmer Cover Kit Model 1010 for closing my above-ground pool, and it seems like a well-designed product. However, I encountered a challenge with the installation process. To install the cover, I had to drain the pool water below the skimmer, which isn't ideal when preparing to close the pool. Since I’m now closing the pool, it doesn’t make sense to refill it just to test if the cover works properly. As a result, I won’t be able to use it for its intended purpose until next summer. It appears to be a sturdy product, and I’m hopeful it will work well when I can fully test it.
