Premium DJI MPPT Adapter! Excellent Performance but Pricey and Tricky to Install
The MPPT adapter from DJI does exactly what it’s supposed to do when paired with the DJI Powerstation 1000 or 2000. If you want to charge your PS from solar, then you need this adapter. (Unless you get the DJI Branded Ones). For example, I am charging mine with Jackery 100W solar Panels (2). It’s expensive. Some might call it exorbitant, but the performance aligns with DJI’s reputation for quality. If you already own one of the compatible powerstations and want efficient solar charging, the adapter delivers. My experience with two units has been positive, though the high cost is hard to overlook. Build quality is what you’d expect from DJI. The materials feel solid, the connectors are firm, and once installed the module feels robust and secure. This isn’t a flimsy add-on; it’s engineered to withstand regular use outdoors. That said, installation isn’t intuitive at first. The fit is snug, and aligning connectors takes patience. Once you understand how it clips and mates with the powerstation, it becomes straightforward, but initial setup can be frustrating. To get the most out of this adapter, you need it because the DJI Powerstation units do not directly accept most third-party solar panel inputs without an MPPT interface. The adapter acts as a smart bridge between the solar panels and the powerstation, optimizing the panel’s output voltage and current for efficient charging. It connects directly to the Powerstation’s solar input port, and then you connect your solar panels to the adapter’s input leads. With panels from different manufacturers, you’ll often need the correct MC4 or other compatible connectors to match the adapter’s inputs. This setup ensures the powerstation sees a stable, regulated input rather than raw, fluctuating panel output, which improves charging performance significantly. For users committed to solar charging with DJI gear, this adapter is a necessary component despite its cost and learning curve.

Works great with a diy setup!
This is a great companion for the DJI Power 1000. I'm using this with two 100w solar panels. I tried connecting them in series but that resulted in no charge so I switched to parallel with a y-splitter and that allowed the panels to charge the DJI Power. I get upwards to 150w input at best. I think I could add one more 100w solar panel and run it to a separate SDC port but I haven't bought the extra panel to try that. I think this is great for a really small solar setup. I can see a lot of value in taking the DJI Power 1000 camping with some of these panels that could be setup as long as your electrical needs were pretty low. I think getting one of these is worth the price but I don't know if I could justify a second.

Works with a single 210W panel
While I wish there was some more detailed specifications on acceptable non-official panels to use, I took a gamble and installed a 210W polycrystalline panel on top of my camper van and it works great. I am not well versed enough in solar panel technology to understand the open circuit voltage and other specs of solar panels, but it charges my Power 1000 no problem and without any overheating. I do wish the Power 1000 had more SDC ports (as I also use the 1kw car charger), but that is not relevant to this review. Solid product overall and as usual DJI knocks it out of the park with their unique innovations across their entire product line.

Works as it should
The product works as it should and gives you 3 ports for solar panels. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is a bit expensive for what it is, especially since most comparable power stations come with this capability built in, and they are usually a similar price or even less. I get why DJI does this, which is why I purchase the Power 1000, I would just like to see a bit of a better price, seeing as the power station is so darn expensive too! Overall, I would recommend this if you're looking to charge solar panels, I just hope DJI makes this a bit more accessable to folks in terms of the pricing. Great product though, thanks DJI for making awesome products throught the years!

Works great
Solar panel adaptor works great. Wish I had more that 1 solar panel to plug into it.

CORRECT PART FOR THE DJI POWER 1000 SOLAR PANEL CONNECTION
Perfect fit for a DJI Power 1000 power station. Too expensive as usual but the prices come down occasionally with sales and holidays. Charges as it should. This is a great power station. This is the adapter for your solar panels and makes your unit more portable. No shore power needed.

The device steps up the PV input voltage to 52 +/- While doing this they device gets VERY hot.
I cannot give five stars only due to efficiency while using readily available PV panels. Most consumer panels are nominal for 12 volt systems. These are wanting something less than 24 but not 12. I determined this after a LOT of time with the DMM and collecting hours of data. I have three Grape Solar 105 watt panels attached to each of two of these. Each of these is then plugged into my DJI 'generator'. So out of a maximum 630 watt PV array the highest produced power was 374. The device steps up the PV input voltage to 52 +/- While doing this they device gets VERY hot. I would still recommend the DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT) because they are all we have available. But I would like to see DJI go back to the design board and make something more compatible with readily available consumer panels to increase efficiency. Even considering the lost energy from my process the panels they promote from another provider very expensive per watt when compared to commodity panels.

Indispensabile per essere compatibile con pannelli dotati di connettore XT90. Estremamente solido e ben costruito. Si installa in 10 secondi con due semplici viti incluse nell'accessorio.

It works as it should and there are nice lights that come on when a panel is connected to each of the three slots. I haven’t fixed it to the power bank as I just keep it in the pocket on the bag when not in use. Makes for a smaller form factor. I have got 470W from three 200W panels.

Well u can't use it if u don't buy it

I connected 4 panels, 2 in parallel, and I get 360 watts into station. It gets a bit warm to the touch but a put a 4 inch cooling fan under and it's down to 23c. It's DJI, well made like their drones
