Great mouse, very light and fast 8k, i compared w my other one Logitech pro 8k also , i preferred this one

I've been using this mouse daily since November 20, 2025 and I have to say, it's a really nice mouse. I have had issues with contact dermatitis using other mice, and I bought this mouse in hopes of mitigating that issue. I use my computer practically 24/7 yet my symptoms only get mild at their worst, and as a bonus, I really enjoy the feel of magnesium alloy. The buttons sound fairly standard but are satisfying to use. On a wood desk with the default skates, this mouse still glides really well. I'm used to mice being on the heavier side, but the R3 showed me why people value lighter ones. The weight is barely noticeable. Using it all day long, the mouse lasts about a week per charge, give or take some days. Being at a desktop with plenty of chargers means I don't have to worry about it too much, but keep in mind that some mice advertise a battery life in the range of months. An overlooked part of this style of mouse is that dust and grime builds up inside the mouse rather easily. You might find yourself scraping the edges of holes with a toothpick, which is sketchy, to say the least. Despite this I still enjoy the mouse and relatively high maintenance is something I'm fine dealing with.

Absolute garbage. Broken and unusable in 6 weeks. Won't refund and won't return. Stay away.

The only complaint received is that it was to small and the holes weren't all that cracked up as he thought. Other than that it did work, this purchase was for someone else.

Got my r3 with a broken sensor

The R3 is a perfect entry point into the magnesium mouse crowd. The lightweight material really makes it feel like the mouse IS your hand as it moves so easily with it. this combined with the high precision tracking makes for a strong competitor in the lightweight market. As a fingertip grip user I feel the R3 fits me very well, as it's shell sits a little bit lower than others so i can get a proper uninterrupted grip. Mouse buttons 1, 2, 4, 5 feel super snappy and responsive, though middle click or mouse 3 doesn't have much travel and as a result is a bit hard to click without scrolling, which might be a downside for gaming. In my case, I have let the R3 run until it is out of battery and I get at least 15-20 hours from it, charging only once or twice a week which is very nice considering the size of the battery. The only other issue that I have with the R3 is that you will have to change settings through QMK, which I am unfamiliar with and could not get to work. I would have liked to have seen better software support through the likes of a web app, software download, or something else of the sort. Overall, the Attack Shark R3 is a great mouse for being a magnesium build at this price.
