It's stylish and works well for us sweaty-head types.It looks nice enough to wear dressed "up", casual enough to go with your jeans and tee styling.I have a 23-23.5" head. The XL is a perfect fit, sitting at the right place on my skull. It stayed there during a full night out involving moving around and walking several miles. No adjusting necessary.As a man with not-much-hair I wear a hat much of the time, but this can be challenging in summertime heat. The goal was to find something that didn't make high-humidity sweating *worse* and also hopefully dealt with the sweat that would be happening anyway.In extreme heat & high humidity (aka low evap rate) this hat worked like a champ. There's actually a structural piece in the brim (which gives it that front "roll") that absorbs sweat that overwhelms the sweatband. It works startlingly well. That's with walking around and hot food / alcohol consumption contributing to sweatiness past a normal rate.Didn't hurt that somebody recognized the type of hat and complimented it on my 2nd time wearing it out.
