I have menopause and this is the best cooling pad I ever purchased for cooling down my back and neck. It helps me to get to sleep at night or nap during the day and it is easy to freeze flat. I've had this awhile now and there are no tears or rips in the rubber.

I have a family member who gets exceptionally hot at night due to mitigating issues with autoimmune diseases, so I purchased this hoping it would help relive those issues and so far, it does. The cooling pads are frozen by placing them in the freezer for a relatively short amount of time which is helpful if they are needed sooner than required. These are sizable enough to cover someone's back if slept on, which is where the majority of heat was coming from for the person, I gave this too, and it quickly cools them down. However, I would not advise laying on these pads directly because they get uncomfortably cold, so wrapping it in a bath towel before use is necessary. These do the job they are supposed to and have held up quite well over extended periods of use. I would recommend this to people who have trouble with body heat at night.

I wake up in the middle of the night sweating and this pillow provides immediate relief, turning cold to the touch of your skin. No prior freezing necessary. The 2 things I dislike about it are that it becomes discolored over time so I had to purchase a new one and it could be a bit longer in length.

The pillow is ok. Does it's job. Just FYI, if you sleep with it and you spend a long time on one side, you can make yourself dizzy because it cools one ear more than the other. Vestibular response.

Really feels cold! Great to cool off my head and neck while I'm falling asleep in the summer. Wish is was a bit bigger, but even so, I enjoy it. Of course, it doesn't stay cold all night, but stays cold long enough to fall asleep.

“ColliNg Pad Mat for Pillows” was an awesome solution for night sweat. A good purchase one was not enough, two ideal for alternating.

The water freezes into one huge piece of ice that does not conform. This is not gel

I use this on my pillow for nights when I'm sweating through my sheets. Just fyi, if you put it in the freezer folded, obviously it will freeze that way, and you'll have to wait a little before you can place it.
