Lovely camera to fit my helmet and good video quality also

Perfect so far

Purchased as a helmet cam as an extra layer of insurance when cycling and it's performing well so far. It performs excellently under well-lit conditions; but under dark conditions (like most roads in winter) it suffers poor contrast, banding and flickering - but is still more than adequate for my purposes! As an action cam, it is waterproof, robust, and although the supplied with few mounting options, a decent camera, especially for the price - but having said that I would probably class it as an entry-level camera; but it will certainly do me for a long time if it performs as well as it has been! Ps - ensure you have a Class 10 MicroSD card to get good frame-rates!

Well worth the money

Having read a great 'professional' review of the ATCMini in a motorcycle magazine I decided to purchase one on 17/09/2012. To say I was sorely disappointed is an understatement. The first issue is that the memory card (which you have to buy separately)is a nightmare to format with the camera. I thought it would be pretty simple as the instructions look to be straightforward enough ---- create a .txt file for the memory card, load it into the camera, and bingo, the day/month/year and time will be recorded. NO!! No matter what I did the date was always the 01/01/2007!!! Despite numerous attempts by myself and a very computer literate friend we could not get around this problem. (Incidentally, my friend also found through the wonders of the internet someone else who had experienced exactly the same frustrating problem). The other issue, (and more concerning problem), was that the record button was very difficult to initially switch on. I think this was more a problem on my individual camera rather than an overall production issue with the cameras generally, however, it left me feeling uneasy about keeping the ATCMini. In trying to activate the record operation, the button was extremely 'sticky' on each initial attempt and it was very frustrating trying to simply switch the camera into record mode, but it was totally fine on subsequent & repeated on/off switchings. Leave the camera down, have a cup of coffee, go back and try to record and the button was in an obstinate mood again, refusing to activate record mode until, hey presto, once I had succeeded in eventually getting it switched on, I could switch it off and on without any bother. I returned the camera for a full refund because I did not consider that it was fit for purpose and not of merchantable quality. To their absolute credit (and my relief) the seller,through Amazon, was extremely helpful and addressed my problems very speedily and without equivocation. Unfortunately Oregon Scientific have not been so professional in their customer service outlook, and I am still awaiting a reply from them following my remarks to them on their Facebook page and also in an email to their customer service department. Technically it MAY BE a good/great bit of kit, however, if I couldn't rely on being able to switch it on as and when required, and with receiving NO RESPONSE from OS customer services, my confidence was severley dented in what MIGHT be an otherwise serviceable product. Kamera produziert gutes Bildmaterial auch bei nicht optimalen Lichtverhältnissen. Handhabung ist einfach und mit dem mitgelieferten Adapter lässt sich die Kamera auch gut auf Helm o.ä. befestigen. Anschluss an den PC war auch problemlos über das mitgelieferte Kabel. Meine 16GB mSD Karte reicht für ca. 1 Std. Videoaufnahmen. Die erste Inbetriebnahme ist etwas eigenwillig, daher unbedingt vorher Handbuch lesen. Fazit: Für diesen Preis sicherlich er günstigste Einstieg in die Welt der Action Cam`s. Verarbeitung gut, Preis/Leistung super. Für Amateure definitiv eine Kaufempfehlung.

La cámara vino con la batería dañada, hinchada. Llegó en tiempo acordado. Me puse en contacto con la empresa y enviaron una nueva sin precisar devolución. Es un producto que lleva dos o tres años en le mercado pero es ligero y resistente. Para llevar siempre encima

Possiedo due ATC Mini; una più recente (2017) ed un a più vecchia. Ambedue, dopo un certo , hanno manifestato il medesimo inconveniente: non ricevono più il comando VIDEO e FOTO. Di conseguenza, i filmati e le foto non possono essere scaricati sul computer attraverso la minicam. E' possibile farle riparare dal servizio assistenza della OREGON?

Vorausgesagt: Über Amazon wie immer schnell geliefert. Schade, dass die gebrauchte Camera nicht funktionierte (ließ sich zwar einschalten, aber es war keine Aufnahme möglich, trotz Wechsel der Mini-SD-Card, andauernder nerviger Piepton). Rücksendung und Rückerstattung des Kaufpreises lief reibungslos und ohne Probleme, Note 1 zumindest dafür). Leider konnte aus den genannten Gründen die Camera nicht getestet werden, so dass über das Leistungsvermögen auch leider keine Meinung abgegeben werden. Schade !

ricevuta in 3 giorni, dopo aver letto qualche recensione ed aver visto qualche video in internet della cam già sa cosa si va ad acquistare. qualità prezzo eccellente. per iniziare con qualche ripresina per gioco più che sufficiente senza vendere un rene per prendere una gopro. nulla da aggiungere.
