When I'm really focused I don't chew them but I stick the ends of my digital pens in my mouth and ewww. I slid these on all of them and they are a great distraction and sensory release. They are made well of a nice thick quality food safe silicone and much better for my health. Left a bad taste in my mouth and broke within 5 hours (to be fair my teeth are sharp for teeth and my bite strength is also good)
