Underrated Show, with an absolute pro in the lead.
While I have not bought the DVD set as yet I did watch the series on USA Cable Network in the late 90s-early 2000s. I had begun a 26-year career in grocery in 1991 at a local chain operator in Ohio. Nothing like Cobb's, though I could identify with some of the employees on the show. It was also refreshing to see Don Adams in a sitcom role, while he played it straighter as Howard Bannister, it went away from his clueless "Maxwell Smart." character. Excellent supporting cast as well.

Don't like it
Didn't care for this series. There was nothing wrong or defective about the DVDs, I just didn't care for the show. I thought I would like it since I like Don Adams.

Check it Out has 66 half hour episodes so there is 33 hours total time. Not the 44 hours it says on Amazon. Excellent Canadian show though. Enjoy.

Great series!
As a huge Don Adams fan this series is a welcome addition to my collection as there is more to Maxwell Smart than meets the eye lol! Here he puts aside his shoe phones and portrays Howard Bannister who manages Cobbs supermarket and tries to maintain order amongst his employees and customers. Don Adams fans should enjoy this hilarious romp. So “get smart” and be sure to Check it Out!

Don Adams As 1980's Cobb's Supermarket Manager Howard Bannister, Check It Out!
If you are a fan of the American Actor Don Adams, then you may enjoy this Canadian produced sitcom from back in the 1980's where Don Adams plays the role of supermarket manager Howard Bannister with his zany cast of supporting characters who try to get through life while working in a Cobb's Supermarket. The production values of this sitcom are a bit cheesy and resemble a low-value Canadian made production, however if you are a big Don Adams fan, you certainly will want this DVD box sex in your DVD collection. Product Note: The manufacturer of this released DVD box set obviously knew what they were doing as each individual season of DVD's are contained in double sided CD envelopes instead of the standard pop-out DVD cases or digi-packs. This packaging will ensure years of enjoyment of your DVD box set where there maybe minimal to no damage to be concerned about regarding the middle of each DVD being removed from the packaging during each use.

Love it, bought out of curiosity. Never seen or heard of and noticed it while looking up Faulty Towers. Good purchase is you like silly.

Great Sound And Picture Quality
I remember this show very well, from the 80's. Made in Canada, with many familiar Canadian actors and actresses, such as Dinah Christie, and Henry Beckman. Love having the entire 3 seasons on DVD. Picture and sound quality are great.
