Must have for the Xreal glasses. If you are going to be using them for an extended period of time, pick up one of these cables. For the price it was a no brainer. I use my asses extensively while traveling and this cable allows me to charge while watching movies and gaming. Easy, convenient, functional. Exactly what I was looking for.

Works as advertised with my Galaxy S23 and other compatible devices. Very solid construction. Easy to use plug and play, no extra software needed. Great value for the money. Thus far, I haven't seen any issues with the picture quality I get from using the adapter. When connected to my Galaxy phone, I did not experience any issues with the charging speed of my phone.

Its good and works as intended, I like how it is slightly slimmer than the other ones that are being sold. This was able to fit in the same case as my XREAL One glasses

Works perfectly with my iPhone 16 Pro and XReal One Pro glasses. Use a 20 watt charging plug with this for best results. Lower wattage plugs can be glitchy or not work at all. I wish the instructions would say this; I had to test this by trial and error. (That’s why I gave 4 stars instead of 5). I can use a lower wattage plug only when my phone battery is above 90% because the phone is only “sipping” power from the charger at that level. At lower battery levels I need the 20 watt charger, and then everything works perfectly. Hope this advice helps those who were having issues with this device.

As others have mentioned, the price seems a little steep for what it is, but it is XReal-branded, and works perfectly with both my Steam Deck and with my cheapie HP Chromebook. I was surprised to find that the Airs work with the Chromebook at all, but they appear as a second monitor, which can be mirrored with the Chromebook's built-in display or used as a separate display, just as if I had plugged in any other monitor. Since both the Airs and the Chromebook have 1080p resolution, mirroring works perfectly without any resizing or fuss. I can make the Airs be the primary display and blank the Chromebook's display, which is great for privacy while traveling. It is still possible to peek beneath the Airs and see my fingers on the keyboard and touchpad. Plugging this hub in between the two and the Chromebook's power adapter works as expected, powering the Airs and charging the Chromebook. Recommended, even at the high price.

I bought it to use with the Nintendo Switch 2. However, I never could get it to work with it. I was using the Xreal Air 2 Ultra glasses with it.

If you can tolerate the weight of the Xreal One Pros on your nose for more than a couple of hours, you definitely want this hub. The glasses drain the internal battery on my iPhone 16 Pro Max surprisingly quickly. So I always wind up with some battery anxiety when I use my glasses while out and about. This hub helps sidestep that battery anxiety.

This is one of those products which has a single, narrowly focused purpose. So either it does what it's supposed to or it doesn't. There isn't a whole lot of in-between from a functionality standpoint aside from manufacturing glitches which may cause intermittent wiring shorts or bad chip solders on the PCB. So does this product do what it's supposed to? Yes, it does. There are two glaring issues, however. One was known at purchase time, the other was discovered after owning and using it. The first, known issue is that it's so ridiculously overpriced for the function it provides. There are aftermarket dongles which do the exact thing and cost half the price. There are also dongles/hubs which aren't explicitly designed for AR glasses and might also function in this space for even less. So you're really paying the premium for a first-party branded item. At $30, it would be easier to stomach. But the reality is that this should be closer to $25 or even $20 in MSRP. Pricing aside, the main usability issue is that you're using a USB Type C port for video, and using a USB Type C port for power. How do you tell which port does which? There are very tiny embossed icons in the plastic insert. You _might_ memorize which port is which over time. After a couple of months using this, I still haven't. So I printed a couple of labels from my label maker to stick onto the metal housing. One of the purported uses of this dongle is that you may be on a trans-Pacific, trans-Atlantic, or trans-continental flight and want to watch a few movies or TV shows with it. But in dim (or shut off) cabin lighting, you can't see the embossed icons and may end up having to swap cables to try and figure out which is which. At this point, it goes back to the pricing aspect of this and at $40, there should be chip logic built into it to make the dongle port-agnostic. That is, have it detect what's plugged into what port and automatically flip the circuitry as needed. Given the added amount of battery drain AR causes on a phone, you'll want to be able to plug in to power while using this for a long-haul flight to avoid landing with low battery warnings. This does its designed job, but at an unreasonable cost premium and without the flexibility you'd expect from a high-priced product.

Works well and makes the connection more stable. A bit expensive perhaps and can get hot!
