I smile when I mop...
Yes. It's true. I have had this mop for over a week, I use it at least twice a day, and I still smile when I use it. This mop is the most incredible thing to clean floors! I have the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop...

Longest I’ve ever owned a spray mop!
I was one of those chronic spray mop buyers who would buy a spray mop and it would break or stop spraying with in 2 weeks and my longest run was maybe 2 months if I was lucky. I bought this mop in January 2021 and now it’s August 2021 and I’m shocked it’s lasted this long. Usually I’m buying a new mop every other month due to it not spraying anymore or it breaks in general. The only small downfall I have is that it’s sometimes hard to pull the bottle out, sometimes I get it right away and other times I feel like you need the ultimate strength just to pull it out. The other day I pulled it out and the bottle came out and not the lid. At that moment I did try to get it out but gave up because I had other things to do. Two days later I decided to spray WD40 in it because someone recommended to do that if you have issues with bottles being hard to get out, then I took needle nose pliers to get the lid that was stuck and to my surprise it actually worked 10 mins before doing this I was on Amazon looking for another mop! I’ll keep spraying the WD40 at the base where the bottle goes just to see if it will make the bottle come out easier I saw someone recommend that on Reddit. Overall it’s a great mop and it’s the longest lasting spray mop I’ve ever owned and I mop a lot, I mop daily and sometimes 2 to 3 times a day and it’s held up great. It’s easy to use and the pads just come off and you can throw them in the washing machine, I have so many extra pads from buying spray mops and even the standard mop pads fit this mop. The sprayer covers a lot of ground too you don’t have to spray 3 or 4 times in one area.

I've never been so thrilled to clean the floors. :)
Last week my mop broke. I was upset. (we're in the middle of potty training. a mop is essential!) It broke right where the metal met the plastic on the pole. I was actually quite angry for a bit, thinking what a hunk of junk, i'll never buy another one... WAIT a second, I thought... Then I realized that I had bought it- a Rubbermaid Reveal mop- in 2013. That mop had lasted just over 3 years, and while that's not a great deal of time I couldn't imagine a sponge mop or a Swiffer mop lasting any longer. Then I realized how much I really did LOVE the mop (which is why I was so mad in the first place) and that if I bought a new one I would already have some extra mop pads and an extra soap/water bottle. So I logged on to Amazon and purchased a new one right away. When I got it I was quite thrilled at the new version. There are a few updates. For one, the place where my old mop broke in two seems to have been reinforced deeper inside of the plastic mold in this version. The swivel head has so much more freedom of movement. and i think my favorite thing is that THIS HAS A SCRUBBY PAD ON THE FRONT. It's wonderful. I love the washable pads, they attach with velcro-like adhesion, and can go right into the washer with the towels. I also bought an extra microfiber dusting pad which works wonders on my hardwood floors. The bottle that comes with it is easy to use- just fill it with your preferred floor cleaner and water, screw the top back on, pop it in and go. I like that you don't really have to buy special cleaner or anything and the washable pads are so much better than disposable. When I got the new mop I did worry that the difference in bottle design would mean I couldn't use the old one as well, but i was pleasantly surprised. So now I can keep my wood floor polish in one and my pinesol in the other! I'm pretty tickled with it. Who knew someone could get so worked up and excited over a mop, right?

Excellent product missing one design tweak.
I was stoked to try this product out largely because I was tired of wasting money on the disinfectant and nonreusable pads for the Swiffer wetjet. The product clearly is in direct competition with Swiffer and does a great job at providing a simpler and more streamlined cleaning process. The mop head is microfiber and reusable via intermittent washing and drying. It sticks well to the end of the mop which also boasts a dense scrubbing sponge for even the grimiest of stains. The trigger is exactly in the right spot for the average consumer hand size. And best of all it eliminates all of the requirements of the overly complex battery powered spraying mechanism found in the Swiffer wetjet. You simply operate the trigger like traditional disinfectant spray bottle. (Not recommended to individuals with physiological impairment within their hands.) The only negative I've discovered is the absence of a release valve on the bottom of the disinfectant bottle. This results in significant negative pressure within the bottle while in use. It will deform and possibly reduce the lifespan of the product. I recommend Rubbermaid consider adding a small pressure release valve toward the end of the bottle allowing for atmospheric equilibrium. This will dramatically improve the lifespan of the bottle and reduce chances of blowout in regards to the rubber gasket. It's a 8/10 product with the potential to claim top spot in market.

Perfect for Luxury Vinyl Floors
I have had two of these - they seem to last a long time! I fill it with water to use on my floor and it does a nice job. I've purchased additional pads just so I can clean them in the washer, but it's a good way to keep luxury vinyl clean and smear-free. I've found that if I spray less rather than more water, it works better and leaves a nice dry floor in very little time. It's a quick and easy way to do the daily maintenance and keep my floors looking great!

Great product...for about a month
I seem to be having the same problem as most of the other customers who rated this product low. The mop is FANTASTIC while it works. The sprayer has a fine mist spray that covers a large area, and it cleans better than other mops. However, after a little over a month's use, the sprayer quit working. The lever, like others have mentioned, remains in a pulled position and does not lock properly anymore, resulting in sprayer that won't function at all. Every other aspect of the mop is great. I love the reusable pads that you can wash, and the fact that you can fill and reuse the bottles with whatever cleaning solution you would like is awesome. But the sprayer should not malfunction after that short amount of time. I am contacting Rubbermaid to get a replacement for the mop since it is within their warranty. If this continues to be a problem, I'll probably just use a hand sprayer and deal with it (which would be a pain). If the product lasted for any reasonable amount of time, even just a year or two, I'd say it's worth every penny. But as is, It's not worth the price if it's going to break every month. Update: I spoke with customer service about the issue, and they didn't send me a new mop, but they did send me a $25 certificate to use toward a new one or any other Rubbermaid product. They also explained that even with a diluted solution, the trigger can stop working if the system gets clogged with excess soap. To prevent this, the customer service rep suggested filling a second bottle with hot water after you're done with the cleaning solution and spraying the mop several times until you're sure the sprayer is completely clear of any soap residue. I found that not only does this help, it actually solved the issue with the trigger that I was having. I also found that using a different solution that was a bit gentler (Lysol all-purpose cleaner is a good one) was better at preventing the issue. Now, having said that, you'd think that a mop designed to hold cleaner would function a bit better without having to be cleaned out every time, but I'm glad to have a working mop again that does a great job! So three stars from me.

The Original Mop
I have looked everywhere for this mop model. So happy I found this on Amazon. It was easy to put together and easy to maneuver around the house. The length of the handle is great for my husband who is 6'2. The bottle holds so much floor cleaner and it does not leak. Thanks for having this on the site!
