A number of high quality 100% cacao bars seem to have gone off the market, and I'm really grateful that this company is still manufacturing theirs in the US. It has a wonderful texture and taste (yes of course it's bitter, but again, depends on what you pair it with), for a reasonable price. I highly recommend it. But I don't know where to put in my question about my current situation. In my most recent order for them, the dark chocolates are a lighter color than usual. And they're more brittle/dryer. Without milk or sugar the flavor of the cocoa matters even more, so I've tried a bunch of brands and this one is my favorite. I've ordered it multiple times. It consistently arrives quickly, without damage, and is never past or even near the best-if-used-by date. This week was the first time I've ever had a problem. The chocolate arrived already bloomed/melted. Like completely melted to the point where it was all at the bottom of each box. Since the foil was now one with the chocolate and the texture wasn't very good I requested to exchange it for a new box. They made the process easy and had the new box to me in less than a week with no extra charge. The new chocolate is great, not melted or bloomed at all. I strongly recommend this product. It's a little pricy, but definitely worth the cost.
