This scale exceeded my expectations. I had been looking for something that could handle small light packages as well large heavy ones. This one does an excellent job! I also needed something that had a long enough cord so that the display could clear big boxes while they're being weighed and this is perfect for that. It also has all the needed functions like lbs, oz, and tare function. The display is easy to read and lights up. I also love the option to plug this into a wall outlet or use batteries. I highly recommend this to anyone who ships a lot of packages like me.

This is an excellent and lightweight scale for how large it is. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it feels just not heavy to use. The size is great for larger packages and of course the digital reader is nice. The item is easy to use, navigate and accurate. Overall I think for mailing packages and trying to determine weight for postage, this works great! Would recommend for home use.

I really love this scale. It is very easy to setup and use. The scale itself is very big, almost 12 by 12 inches so it can handle almost any size objects. The numbers on the scale are big enough to read very easily. I am really happy with my purchase.

I bought this for my business. I sell things that are very light, to very heavy. I didn’t realize that this doesn’t even register the weight unless it’s over 6 ounces. Not to mention, I can’t get exact weight measurements by pound and ounce. Or even ounces only. Either that, or I didn’t read the instructions correctly. The quality is great, it’s actually a very sturdy ale. The color is great, and the set up is easy. There is no auto shut off, so if you forget to turn it off, it will stay on until you get back into your office.

Overall, I am impressed with the Accuteck Heavy-Duty Shipping Scale and quickly arrived for my sideline business that started with a new shipping company. The keys features for my need was the small footprint that provides a large platform and can handle very heavy weighted packages (up to 440 pounds) with extreme accuracy. Also, the detachable LCD display provides a clear reading which is very nice for my large packages the completely covers the scale. The scale is easily carried from station to station and can operate as a mobile scale using battery or AC power. Lastly and equally important is the 10 year warranty to stand behind the product. I highly recommend for home usage weighting luggage when traveling or small/growing businesses that need accurate shipping weights.

I purchased this to fill corny kegs which have been purged with CO2 and sealed to minimize oxygen exposure. I've done two kegs so far and have been very happy with how the scale works and would recommend to other homebrewers wanting the same. Accuracy of the scale is within 2 oz., which is fine for kegging purposes. My method is to place the keg on the scale, connect the hoses, and then tare the scale to 0. I will then begin filling the keg until it reaches 42 pounds. At that point you will have exactly five gallons kegged for a normal 1.010 FG beer. Higher finishing gravities like 1.020 could handle 42.5 pounds, but I just stop at 42 pounds in all cases and call it good enough. As documented in the manual, if you use the included AC adapter the scale will NOT automatically power off. So use the AC adapter for kegging and you will have no time constraints. Don't even install the batteries, otherwise it may auto shut off. I usually take 10-20 minutes to fill a keg with no issues on AC adapter alone. Other reviews were confusing to me on this point.

Good, does the job required

I have been using this scale for a few months now. I ship things so I have to make sure that weight is accurate. This is an excellent scale. It feels very sturdy. I don't have to worry if I drop it or something. On the other hand the control feels very plastic. Although I like that the numbers are quite big. You can have 3 options for weight, kg, lbs and lbs oz. You can also have a tare weight setup which is good. One thing that I like about this is it goes up to 400 lbs. I tried weighing myself on this thing and it held. Good choice for home use or small office.

Very simple to set up. Works perfectly and seems to be of sturdy construction. Bought it to weigh & post numerous motorcycle accessories after cancellation of a bike purchase. These scales will definitely serve their purpose.
